VOLVO XC40 PURE ELECTRIC
Commitment Environment Aligned With Power And Technology
The Volvo XC40 Pure Electric is the brand's first 100% electric vehicle and combines the best of Scandinavian style with sustainability. Robust, the model combines luxury, safety, technology and power in one product.
Offered in two versions, the XC40 comes with one or two engines: the plus version features the Single Electric engine (P6), with a 69 kWh battery, which is able to generate an autonomy of about 231 km (Brazilian cycle - Inmetro) and 420 km (European cycle - WLTP). The model has FWD and an electric motor with 231 hp and 330 Nm of torque. The Ultimate version (P8) has two motors, which when combined generate 408 hp of power and 660 Nm of torque. With the 78 kWh battery, the car offers a range of 305 km (Brazilian cycle - Inmetro) and 400 km (European cycle - WLTP).
The design based on the Scandinavian style of the brand's SUVs, the XC40 Pure Electric brings more refinement and sophistication in the details. In the place where the engine air intake grilles would be, a panel with the Volvo Cars logo was included, reminding the originality of the model. Besides this differential, the version range also receives a new Sage Green color. Still in the external part, the highlight is the charming inscription Recharge in the rear columns. The 20-inch aluminum wheels also add to the car's look, besides bringing the tire pressure monitoring system, the TPMS.
Inside the vehicle, the car has kept a clean layout. The microtech seats make the perfect harmony with the carpet, steering wheel, and dashboard, which is finished in Cutting Edge Aluminium. Another novelty is the floor covering, which has been manufactured entirely from recyclable plastic.
In technological matters, the car has a 360-degree camera that, together with the Cross Traffic Alert (CTA), with automatic braking, helps avoid collisions when exiting or entering parking spaces. In addition, the Lane Change Alert System (LKA) and the Blind Spot Alert system are part of the vehicle's differentials.
Other functions such as city safety, pilot assist, adaptive cruise control, full LED headlights, Volvo On Call, a safety, protection, and convenience service that offers 24-hour assistance and emergency assistance round out the car's unique features.
One of the highlights is One Pedal Drive, a feature that can be activated inside the vehicle and makes acceleration and braking much more convenient through a single pedal. In other words, to accelerate, just press the pedal, and to brake, just release your foot and the car will stop according to the force that is exerted. Once this functionality is used, energy regeneration becomes even more efficient, and even extends the autonomy.
