Travelers can venture out onto the streets of Lake Nona, a large modern master-planned community of elegant single-family homes, bungalows, and tree-lined condominiums, and explore the quaint streets and lakes of Winter Park.
Additionally, for those who want a premium dining experience, you can immerse yourself in the flavors of America's finest Michelin-starred restaurants, such as Capa, focused on Spanish cuisine and housed in the Four Seasons Orlando, as well as Bacán, located within the Lake Nona Wave, which is primarily inspired by South and Central American dishes.
The Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, Seaworld, and Legoland Florida Resort parks bring a list of new attractions for 2023, including roller coasters, shows, escape rooms, immersive environments, treasure hunts, and many other exciting new features that promise to ignite the imagination of all visitors.
Park News:
At Walt Disney World, which recently concluded its 50th-anniversary celebrations, one of the biggest highlights is the thrilling Tron Lightcycle / Run roller coaster, which debuted at Magic Kingdom Park in April and is one of the fastest roller coasters in any Disney theme park worldwide. Based on Disney's science fiction film TRON: Legacy, visitors will race through a boundaryless world on a high-risk adventure aboard their own Lightcycle, the incredible motorcycles from the franchise universe.
At Universal Orlando Resort, Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast is set to open in the summer of 2023 at Universal Studios Florida. This attraction combines screens with cutting-edge technology, interactive elements, and elaborate physical sets, offering a unique gaming adventure where visitors encounter immersive environments, wicked villains, and thousands of mischievous Minions. The new attraction will be part of a new Minion land, home to the existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction and a future café featuring the lovable yellow creatures from the highly successful Illumination franchise, along with many other surprises.
SeaWorld also has a new attraction! The Orlando Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will be the seventh roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando, with its opening scheduled for the second half of 2023. This ride will be the world's first to offer immersive design elements. The attraction will turn visitors' experience into an extraordinary ocean adventure, transforming the roller coaster "train" into a giant surfboard and its movements into envy-inducing maneuvers like those of the world's top surfers.
Last but not least, Legoland Florida Resort has launched the Pirate River Quest, a treasure hunt adventure designed for the whole family. Led by a pirate, visitors will navigate the uncharted waters of the legendary Cypress Gardens to uncover the secrets that protect its canals. In addition to the attraction, Legoland will kick off its summer celebrations with AweSummer, a festival developed specifically to commemorate the hottest season of the year starting on June 4th.
