Though we are currently in the summer season, our tropical climate is inviting year round. These assets, safe guarded largely by man, are treasures open to visit, enjoy and respect, and also preserve, for future generations. Some of these beaches are found within National Parks with the aim of not only preserving the land but also the various species of plants and animals that live there.
El nombre Archipielago de las Perlas proviene de la abundancia de perlas que existía en la zona durante el período de dominio español. The name comes from the abundance of pearls which existed in the area, during the period of Spanish rule.
