California's New ESA Law in

A service animal is trained to assist a physically or mentally disabled person. While Emotional Support Animals do not require any training, they provide companionship to their owner to help them heal mentally.
Some people knowingly represent their ESA as Service
Animal to get more legal privileges'. New California Law for ESA is introduced to stop that.
Any person or organization that provides dogs for use as ESA dogs is required to give a notice that reads, in part:
The dog is untrained and unfit to serve as a service, guide, or signal dog.
The people or organizations that issue
emotional support animal certifications, IDs, tags, vests, leashes, or harnesses also include a note that the dog is only recognized as an emotional support animal and not as a guide, signal, or service dog.
