As a passionate architectural designer, I always think of what Frank Gehry said: “Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness”. I have tried to respect the culture and context through my works while adding a touch of creativity and unique experience of space. Here is a summarized story of my career!

This project is designed inspired by historical Persian garden layout called CHARBAGH (translating to four gardens), which is strongly tightened to Iraninan culture and identity. A Charbagh garden is typically divided into four quadrants or sections by pathways or water channels that intersect at the center of the garden. These pathways and water channels create a symmetrical and geometric layout, often in the shape of a square or rectangle. The four quadrants are usually planted with flowers and trees (mostly Cypress), creating beautiful perspectives for passerby, and they may be further subdivided into smaller geometric patterns.

05| Single-Family House

A modern single-family house, located in Kashan, one of the driest cities in central parts of Iran. Historical sustainable architecture in this region has a worldwide reputation. This is like they have created a heaven in the middle of the desert.
Street
Yard Ivan Room
This concrete-frame one-storey house with 5,200 sq.ft floor area, is proposed for a family of three, with an extra bedroom for guests. The design is inspired by key elements of traditional houses in this city incorporating several verandas that provide shade to mitigate the extreme temperature and control the sunlight.
These verandas also form semi-open spaces. Somewhere people have spent quality time while enjoying greenery of the yard for hundreds of years. They also serve a link, gradually lead passerby from the public environment to more private sections.
The combination of brick as a local material and concrete as a modern counterpart, presents a contemporary concept in relation to the history of a traditional city.
I was engaged in the project from priliminary design to BP production, landscape design and 3d modeling.
