Flood protection systems

TURBO® flood protection systems are based on water-

filled dams that can be installed anywhere within a very short space of time and with minimum effort.

Convenient, fast connection of tubes with wire locks

A dam consists of two parallel tubes made from

special, hard-wearing tarpaulin material, which are connected with a simple wire lock. The system is available in 3 sizes offering heads of 25 cm, 55 cm, and 85 cm. Standard tubes come in lengths between 5 m and 25 m.

Patented coupling systems enable dams of any

length to be configured, with freely configurable changes in direction in all 3 dimensions at any point and without special elements. TURBO® dams can be erected on any terrain and surface. The dam requires no anchoring or additional support. The TURBO® system is characterised by very short installation times, convenient handling, in-

TURBO XP ® TURBO® XP is characterised by ingenious simplicity. The two tube ends are conical and feature a Storz connection at the apex. BI-TURBO® is in a class of its own. It is the system offering the shortest assembly time. The modules consist of dual tubes, with both open ends equipped with an aluminium ring. The rings are designed as quarter-turn fasteners and are connected using «spectacle»-shaped coupling plates featuring all required individual connection components and a valve. The valves are located at the bottom and enable water to flow from one module

The Storz connections are welded to a channel at

the top that distributes the water uniformly into the two tubes. A dam of almost any length can be filled with water without time-consuming repositioning of fire hoses. The assembly time is determined by the time it takes to fill the tubes with water. This applies to all water-filled systems.
