While I was born and raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin, I’m now based out of Perth, Western Australia, where I have been shooting newborns and their families for over 16 years. I have also taught thousands of photographers from all over the world through my maternity and newborn workshops and featured as the keynote speaker for dozens of photography conferences across the globe I have an amazing husband, two beatuiful daughters (13 and 11), and one 24 year old stepson
Sessions with me are incredibly laid back and fun. I am a people person and one of my strong points is making my clients feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera Looking forward to meeting you soon!
On the side, I am an animal lover we have three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, two bobtail lizards, two red tailed black cockatoos, two cockatiels, four gouldian finches and fifteen chickens. We are a literal zoo and I love ever minute of it!

All newborn sessions take place at my Mullaloo studio and include sibling and family photos. I normally pencil in your due date and then we schedule the exact date and time for the session once baby arrives Newborn sessions are usually done when baby is 5 14 days (though can be done up to six weeks of age) We try to get all of the details taken care of prior to the birth, since things in that first week can get a bit overwhelming at times. My studio will be nice and warm with plenty of beautiful props and colours for you to choose from. I also have a toy room for older siblings to play in while we take photos of baby alone. You don't need to worry about a thing except bringing plenty of food for baby other than that, I've got you covered!
WHATTOEXPECT
Maternity sessions would be on location within a certain distance from Mullaloo, or at my Mullaloo studio. I have done them at parks, beaches, and bushland. The outdoor sessions are tons of fun, and always take place around an hour prior to sunset, lasting anywhere from 30 60 minutes. Can't decide between studio and beach? Due to my close proximity to the beach, I offer BOTH locations for your session at no additional charge I normally shoot maternity sessions at around 30 34 weeks gestation I provide all clothing for you I have an extensive collection of gorgeous gowns to choose from all you need to do is provide undergarments. And of course, partners and siblings are always included! I guide you every step of the way with posing to ensure that you look absolutely AMAZING for every image.

Maternity, newborn or bump & baby sessions are truly the best baby investment money can buy. Your little one will grow out of the adorable outfits, the beautiful prams and the cute little toys...but the photos of this fleeting and amazing time will last for generations to come.
How does it all work?
Booking a session with me is easy! All you need to do is pay the session fee for your chosen session type and fill out a little online information form That's it! You don't need to pay anything else until after you have viewed ALL of your images in your online gallery. Once your gallery is posted online, you decide how many images you want to purchase, and whether you'd prefer a digital collection or prints/products (or a combination of both). There are absolutely no pressure sales your final order is entirely up to you. I am always available to help, should you have any questions at all. WHATTOWEAR Maternity
Partners and siblings just need to wear lighter/ neutral tones for the beach, medium to darker tones for green locations, and both options for studio sessions.
I've got you covered literally! You will be able to choose from my extensive collection of stunning imported maternity gowns. I normally offer up to three gown changes for outdoor sessions. All you need to provide is hair, makeup and undergarments that closely match your skin tone. Studio sessions can be semi or fully nude, with gowns, or a combination of both!
Can't find anything to wear after giving birth? No problem! My stunning gowns work perfectly for family photos with your newborn. Partners and siblings just need to wear lighter/neutral tones for family photos OR darker tones (you are given a choice between two backdrop options).

Your due date will be your session date so that we can be sure that you are on my calendar for that month. Once your baby is born, all you have to do is send me a text or email from there we’ll schedule a definitive session date that suits you best. Once you book your newborn photo shoot session I’ll send you a detailed email with all the information you need to know including what you can expect from your session, how to prep yourself and your baby and other helpful insights and tips. Can I incorporate sibling and family photos with my baby?
I'm not a very photogenic person - should I skip the maternity session?
sometimes better to schedule it a little bit earlier when your belly is slightly smaller If you are wanting an outdoor session with gowns, it's better to wait a little longer so your belly doesn't get 'lost' in all the fabric.
When should I schedule my maternity session?
Absolutely not!! Almost EVERY client you see in all the images in my portfolio felt exactly the same it's all about the angles, posing, lighting and a little bit of photoshop. Don't worry one bit I will make you look your best fabulous self and you will never regret capturing this magical time in your life. Same goes for partners - I am excellent at making everyone feel comfortable and capturing the special bond that you share in a very low pressure environment.
As soon as possible! I generally take on a set number of due dates per month. I do try to squeeze in some extra space to take on last minute bookings, so don't panic if your baby is already here and you haven't yet booked anything. Absolutely! Photographing your little one surrounded by family is an incredible experience for everyone involved. I do recommend booking a full session if you are interested in a good amount of sibling and family photos. I am very good with children, move quickly, and have a toy room next to my studio where they can play to their heart's content while we do photos of baby alone This all sounds fabulous!
