I have an amazing husband, two beatuiful daughters (13 and 11), and one 24 year old stepson. On the side, I am an animal lover we have three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, two bobtail lizards, two red tailed black cockatoos, two cockatiels, four gouldian finches and fifteen chickens.

While I was born and raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin, I’m now based out of Perth, Western Australia, where I have been shooting family sessions for over 16 years. I have also taught thousands of photographers from all over the world through my maternity and newborn workshops and featured as the keynote speaker for dozens of photographyconferencesacrosstheglobe.

Family sessions will be on location within a certain distance from Mullaloo, or at my Mullaloo studio I have taken clients to parks, beaches, bushland and all sorts of other locations
WHATTOEXPECT
Once you decide to book, I will send along a styling guide which helps you to put together the perfect wardrobe for your session location. And of course, I am always available to help you decide what might work best for your family I will guide you every step of the way with posing and angles to make sure that you all look your absolute best.
During the session, you will explore, laugh, snuggle and we will do our best to have you all radiating happiness and love. It is truly the best part of my job I smile the whole time I upload new galleries seeing all of the beautiful moments we have captured. I know how much they will be treasured for decades to come and it fuels my soul!
The outdoor sessions are tons of fun, and always take place around an hour prior to sunset, lasting anywhere from 30 60 minutes. I am an expert about maximising our time and curating a fun, laid back environment so that your family can create amazing memories of this time in your life.
How does it all work?
Family photo sessions are truly the most lasting investment money can buy. Your little ones grow SO fast that it's easy to let years go by without a professional photography session. Before you know it, they are twice the size...I know because I am guilty of this with my own family! But taking the time to capture this fleeting time in your family's life, you will be able to take home heirloom images that will last for generations to come Booking a session with me is easy! All you need to do is pay the session fee for your chosen session type and fill out a little online information form. That's it! You don't need to pay anything else until after you have viewed ALL of your images in your online gallery Once your gallery is posted online, you decide how many images you want to purchase, and whether you'd prefer a digital collection or prints/products (or a combination of both). There are absolutely no pressure sales your final order is entirely up to you. While I guide you with posing and prompting, I keep my family photography very natural and fun I feel this will bring out the true character of your children and will also make the session more enjoyable for the entire family.

Where does the photo session take place?
Anywhere you like! The beach is by far the most popular location here in Perth, due to the fact that it is absolutely stunning! However if you aren't beach people, I go to parks, bushland, farms, or any other location that appeals most to your family.

Yes, absolutely! I help you to pose while still maintaining my signature natural style Don't stress about a thingeven if you think you aren't very photogenic. I've got you covered! Do you photograph in colour or black & white?
I offer both for EVERY image. So each image that you order comes in both versions no need to choose between them
