Soft X‐ray & EUV Monochromator & Spectrograph 1m grazing incidence spectrometer with Andor‐Technology DO‐series CCD for direct‐detection, great performance, and flexibility in the soft x‐ray and extreme UV wavelength range. The spectrometer scans and positions the CCD detector to simplify and speed up data acquisition.

SXR Spectrograph with direct detection CCD

Model 248/310 one meter grazing incidence spectrometer with an Andor‐Technology DO420BN‐995 CCD: This diagnostic instrument is mounted vertically, looking down into the XAPPER light source at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The source is a “Radio‐frequency‐preionized xenon Z‐pinch source for extreme ultraviolet lithography” used for lithography, damage threshold and ablation experiments. Some typical spectra are shown below.

SXR Spectrograph with Microchannel plate + CCD

Model 248/310 one meter grazing incidence spectrometer with microchannel plate intensifier and Andor‐Technology DH420A‐FO CCD: The microchannel plate (MCP) mounts tangent to the Rowland circle to intercept best focus across the detector array. In addition to gain, the MCP may be gated and synchronized with signals from the experiment. The MCP is efficiently fiber coupled to the CCD.
