Quando si trascorre del tempo in un hotel, che sia per qualche ora o per diversi giorni, la soddisfazione delle aspettative è certamente importante ma non è l’unico fattore che conta. Come essere umano prima di tutto, per me diventa imprescindibile la necessità di sentire un senso di appartenenza, una connessione a livello emotivo, pur riservando estrema importanza alla mia libertà e indipendenza individuali. Ed è proprio il legame con lo staff che mi fa tornare, ancora e ancora, ogni volta che ne ho l’occasione e l’hotel diventa quindi più di un semplice posto dove stare; diventa un luogo di comfort in cui mi sento meglio che a casa. Ho sempre pensato che la capacità di accogliere calorosamente, di mettersi nei panni altrui, di saper ascoltare, di anticipare le emozioni, i bisogni e i desideri, rappresentassero il vero lusso ed è questo che per me fa la differenza, in ogni ambito della vita. Al giorno d’oggi ciò che scarseggia è il tempo e la possibilità di riconnettersi a se stessi e quindi il godimento dipende da un abile abbattimento di tutto ciò che è superfluo, proteggendo l’essenziale. Ed è per questo motivo che l’ambiente in cui scegliamo di stare dovrebbe permetterci di vivere esperienze più stimolanti, aiutandoci a diventare la persona che aspiriamo ad essere.
