WHY CURB APPEAL MATTERS

IMPORTANCE OF CURB APPEAL PROVISION OF LASTING IMPRESSION First impressions last longer, which is definitely evident in the real estate world. “The first impression is critically important” echoed by Faye O’Bryant, a CRS with RE/MAX Equity Group. It is the pride of every homeowner to receive comments from neighbors, family, or most importantly prospective buyers as they emphasize their perspective on the first impression. The level of attractiveness any person feels for a property when they view it creates the connection that makes them want it even more. In recent years, the first impression is not only physical but starts from the internet. Online real estate has become a trend for all US cities. It is therefore advisable to homeowners to take eye-catching photos of their houses, to highlight every aspect of their curb appeal. First impressions will always give the home buyers the urge to enquire more since they already have the expectations of a better interior décor. ADDS VALUE TO THE PROPERTY Curb appeal is a marketing tool that can determine how long a home will be in the market. Houses with adorable curbs sell first but those without can stay for months. The appealing the curb is, the faster it sells. The value of a home is always the top priority for any seller. Different homes have been listed with different prices in the MLS, holding all other factors constant, curb appeal plays a greater role in determining how high or low the price of a house will be. On average, homes with beautiful curb appeal sell for 7 percent more compared to exact homes with an unattractive curb l

ave you ever been walking or driving down a street but had to stop and stare in admiration at the aesthetic exterior of a house? Well, that’s the power of curb appeal. It is what gives the home buyers the first impression of a house when they see it from the streets or online. Curb appeal also can refer to how stunning a house looks compared to other houses on the same street or block. Southern California is the third strongest growing region in California with 22. 1percent price increment at $760. As per the California Association of Realtors. For this reason, most buyers want to see the value of the prices reflected in both the interior and exterior of the house. Furthermore, sellers will do what it takes to increase the level of attractiveness and make their houses outstanding. Most sellers put so much thought and effort into selling their houses that they forget the little things that make the most difference like the curb appearance.
