INTRODUCTION OF I.M.P PROJECT Kowloon City Site Study The surrounding area is dominated by public, old and new residential areas and schools, and the people who live here are mainly middle class. There are also stores, shopping centers, hotels and historical sites.

Conclusion IMP OF PROGRAM Introduction : My plan is to improve the quality of life and increase the space for cultural integration. The inspiration for my project came mainly from a study of the direction of development in the old district and the provision of space for the feng shui needs of the public. Therefore, in conducting this study, I have re-examined the Kowloon City and Feng Shui cultural theory.

After studying the whole Kowloon Walled City area, it was reconsidered that the elements of special significance and value of Kowloon Walled City are his historical background and the preserved historical buildings. I have therefore chosen the Former Yamen Building , a historic building in Kowloon Walled City, as the feng shui site for the new design.

The integration of facilities in the public realm creates a community for the Kowloon City community where old meets new. Increasing economic activity in the area, educating and encouraging residents about historical values and feng shui culture.

DESIGN CONCEPT OF I.M.P PROJECT

BACKGROUND CONCEPT Throughout my design concept project, I have focused on the integration of the history of the old district and the quality of life of its citizens. As a matter of fact, everyone always aspires to have a better and more advanced but it is often overlooked that when the socalled good things are actually realised, the underlying principle is that they need historical context and civic communication and connection to be sustainable.

STORY CONCEPT In people‘s visions of their future. ”A fish leaps over the dragon's gate and becomes a dragon,Dragon in the Sky” a Chinese concept of the dragon representing power and money. People often want to dominate their own future as something they can control and change.

SPACE CONCEPT The spatial design concept of the space and the whole project is the Former Yamen Building of Kowloon City, which has a historical and cultural background. A creative display using feng shui theory to draw the attention of the community. To understand the forgotten spaces of the city.

But the truth is that we can reflect on why Hong Kong is so thriving. It is because of the spirit of hustle and the mix of diverse cultures that we can achieve a balance.So I went back to the design concept of my project and re-examined the development of the Kowloon City area. It's not about There's no need to change his current culture and community. It is how to enhance the self-worth of the area to blossom into his uniqueness.


MATERIAL EXPRESSION OF SITE MATERIAL OF SITE The main inspiration and research project for the material extension part, as this time my project is mainly a feng shui museum using the project of the former Yamen in Kowloon City as a reshaping element . Therefore, my view on the choice of materials and the shape was mainly derived from the characteristics of Kowloon City and the former Yamen building as the basic creative elements. It also serves as a concept for the culture of the old community and the creation of new materials. The former Yamen Building of Kowloon

Kowloon City area has a very rich character, including A cultural community with a rich historical background.developed through the years. The elements within it not only represent traces of people's lives and the development of the community.

The former Yamen Building of Kowloon Walled City Government Offices is a historic building with Chinese architectural overtones. The courtyard building retains much of the architecture and representative grey brick design of the government offices.

Feng Shui Hall is the place is closely linked, presenting a new and old area that creates a strong sense of place for visitors.As the feng shui hall is designed with the 'dragon' in mind. The whole design expresses the 'dragon' in different forms and creates different visual effects. The square shape of the historic building also contrasts strongly with the changing shape of the "dragon". Together with the location being outdoor without a roof, there is no light at night Due to the above reasons.I needed a material that could transmit light and glow in the night while still moving with the wind. To meet the needs of this theme, after much deliberation, I thought bamboo, Resinous, Strontium aluminate and wire would be a good choice.Bamboo is used as my main material. Although crystal glue is not classified as a mainstream material at the moment , I still think it would be interesting and inspiring to look at crystal glue as a material.

Bamboo is found mainly in tropical, subtropical and warm temperate regions. Asia is the most abundant, followed by Africa and Latin America, and North America and Oceania are rare.

Bamboo is also the fastest growing plant in the world, with the hollow stems of the above-ground parts of some bamboos growing up to 40cm per day and reaching a height of 35-40m when fully grown.

(scientific name: Bambusoideae), belongs to the family Gramineae and can be divided into three groups with arboreal morphology, such as the tropical Bambuseae and the temperate Arundinarieae, and the low herbaceous Olyreae.

Cultivation & Propagation It is often propagated by dividing, burying, removing whips and sowing seeds. The bamboo whip is very strong in germination and clumping, so cut it off in early spring before germination and plant it separately with the bamboo poles to produce new bamboo in the summer. The seeds from the flowering bamboo can also be sown.

The hierarchical structure of bamboo.

Cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin are the three major chemical compositions of bamboo, and they are closely associated in a complex structure .They contribute about 90% of the total bamboo mass. The minor components are pigments, tannins, protein, fat, pectin and ash. Others include resins, waxes and inorganic salts. These constituents play an important role in physiological activity of bamboo, and they are found in cell cavity or special organelles. The chemical composition of bamboo is known to be similar to that of wood, but bamboo has a higher content of minor components compared with wood.

The vascular bundles in the thin-walled tissue matrix are surrounded by supporting fibres, which are considered to be the source of the significant mechanical properties of bamboo. Bamboo fibres have a layered structure in which the cellulose microfibrils reinforce the entangled hemicellulose-lignin matrix. Linear chains of glucose with ordered hydrogen bonds form crystalline regions of the microfibrils, while irregular hydrogen bonds form amorphous regions. These microfibres are rectangular or hexagonal in cross-section.

Epoxy Resinous

Epoxy Resinous is a polymer with the molecular formula (C11H12O3)n. It is the generic term for a class of polymers containing more than two epoxy groups in the molecule. It is a condensation product of epichlorohydrin with bisphenol A or polyol. Due to the chemical activity of the epoxy groups, they can be opened by a variety of compounds containing reactive hydrogen and cured and cross-linked to form a reticulated structure, making it a thermosetting resin.

Main uses of epoxy resin adhesives

Classification Standards There are 16 main types of epoxy resin, including general purpose, structural, high temperature, low temperature, water and wet surface, conductive, optical, spot welding, epoxy film, foam, strain relief, soft material bonding, sealant, speciality, latent curing, and civil construction adhesives. 16 types.


MATERIAL OF CHARACTERISTICS Epoxy Resinous Epoxy resin composition

Use Introduction Epoxy resins and epoxy adhesives are non-toxic in themselves, but many epoxy resins are "toxic" due to the addition of solvents and other toxic substances in the preparation process. The domestic epoxy resin industry is working to maintain the "non-toxic" nature of epoxy resins through aqueous modification and avoidance of additives. Epoxy resins are generally used in conjunction with additives to obtain application value. Additives can be selected for different applications and the following types of additives are commonly used: (1) curing agents; (2) modifiers; (3) fillers; (4) diluents; (5) others. The curing agent is an essential additive, whether it is used as an adhesive, coating or pouring material, otherwise the epoxy resin cannot be cured.

Choice of modifiers (1) Polysulfide rubber: It can improve impact strength and peel resistance. (2) Polyamide resin: It can improve brittleness and improve adhesion. (3) Polyvinyl butyral : Improves impact tanning resistance. (4) Nitrile rubber : improve impact tanning resistance. (5) Phenolic resins: can improve temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. (6) Polyester resin : improve impact tanning resistance. (7) Urea aldehyde melamine resin: increase chemical resistance and strength. (8) Furfural resin : improve static bending performance and improve acid resistance. (9) Vinyl resin: improve peel resistance and impact strength. (10) Isocyanates : reduce moisture permeability and increase water resistance. (11) Silicone resin : improve heat resistance.

Strontium aluminate

MATERIAL OF STUDY & CHARACTERISTICS composition Strontium aluminates exist in a variety of other compositions including SrAl4O7 (monoclinic), Sr3Al2O6 (cubic), SrAl12O19 (hexagonal) ,and Sr4Al14O25 (orthorhombic). The different compositions cause different colours of light to be emitted.

Structural material Strontium aluminate cement can be used as refractory structural material. It can be prepared by sintering of a blend of strontium oxide or strontium carbonate with alumina in a roughly equimolar ratio at about 1500 °C. It can be used as a cement for refractory concrete for temperatures up to 2000 °C as well as for radiation shielding. The use of strontium aluminate cements is limited by the availability of the raw materials.

Introduction Strontium aluminate is an aluminate compound with the chemical formula SrAl2O4 (sometimes written as SrO·Al2O3). It is a pale yellow, monoclinic crystalline powder that is odourless and non-flammable. When activated with a suitable dopant (e.g. europium, written as Eu:SrAl2O4), it acts as a photoluminescent phosphor with long persistence of phosphorescence.

MATERIAL OF STUDY & CHARACTERISTICS Iron Wire

composition Iron wire is a metal wire made from drawn iron, which has different compositions depending on its use. There are many different types of wire depending on their thickness.

Production Wire is a cold processed product of steel wire, usually made from high carbon or stainless steel. Usually, it undergoes a number of processes such as shelling, pickling, washing, saponification, drying, drawing, annealing, cooling, pickling, washing, galvanising, packaging, etc. to produce the ingots for the production of iron wire.

Uses

Introduction The metal billets are rolled into 5mm thick bars, which are then drawn into different diameter wires in the wire drawing device, and the aperture of the wire drawing disc is gradually reduced, then cooled, annealed and coated to produce different specifications of wire. The wire used for binding is available in the following sizes according to industry standards: 25# wire of 0.50mm diameter, 24# wire of 0.55mm diameter, 23# wire of 0.60mm diameter and 22# wire of 0.70mm diameter.

The welded wire mesh for industrial, agricultural, breeding, construction, transportation and mining fields is made of high quality low carbon iron wire, which is then passivated and plasticized by electroplating, hot plating and PVC coating. The stainless steel welded wire mesh is made of high quality stainless steel wire, such as machine guards, animal fences, flower and wood fences, window guards, channel fences, poultry cages, home office food baskets, paper and decorative items, etc. It is more acid-resistant, alkaliresistant, firmly welded and aesthetically pleasing.


CONCEPT OF NEW.MATERIAL NEW.MATERIAL CONCEPT OF FUNCTION In the research on the material concept, I actually had a clear research direction, which was how to create a luminous material that could both independently show its personality and have the ability to be combined both as an architectural structure and as a beautifying material for outdoor spaces.

NEW.MATERIAL Forest in a Cup CONCEPT

The material design concept of the forest in a Cup is derived from the feng shui arrangement of Fu Gui Bamboo. Hong Kong people are often attracted to the colourful head, and when I design the Flying Dragon, they want to see another image at night when the night is quiet. The material in the cup explains the meaning of luminosity

Bamboo is a s ymbol of wealth and prosperity and, as the main material, it can bring out the distinctive elements and characteristics of each material and create the highlights that it implies.

The resin is based on my design concept, mainly to increase the clarity and visibility to attract customers' attention

Strontium aluminate powders are mainly used in combination with resin, and they can be re-presented to the historical value of pitch black

The wire is mainly auxiliary in nature to increase the reflection in the sunlight

Forest in a Cup

The characteristics of the new material in daylight are very transparent.

In the night light, due to the influence of the sunlight and the sun, the phosphor will emit light after being exposed to light to achieve the effect of illuminating the space. The main effect is that you can see the details in the materials at night.
