n September 2011, Art’s Mexican Products celebrated its 50th anniversary of serving the Kansas City area. Arturo Gutierrez and Angela Rodriguez Gutierrez founded the business after working for an area grocery store chain. According to Rachelle Gutierrez, their daughter, her father bought the store from her uncle. “When my dad bought the store, he changed the name from Molina’s to Art’s,” Rachelle Gutierrez said.
