What are Push Back Test Probes? We are living in a modern world and there are many complicated machines that are made constantly every day but before going to get packed at the cargo-bay area, these electronic products and its instruments are tested using various probes. When plugging the plug connectors together, it is important that the contact terminals remain in the correct position, and cannot be pushed back. For this test to take place, push-back test probes with a spring force of up to 34 N are used. If the contact sheet stays in the correct position, the plunger makes a downwards stroke movement. This achieves contact with the test probe or switching probe that is installed below and can, in turn, confirm the correct position of the contact sheet. The probes are designed with a continuous plunger. During the cable test benches, push back probes are installed. In combination with switching probes featuring plastic tip styles, voltage-free tests are also possible. These probes are made up of materials that are good conductors of electricity.
