Welcome to our 2010 Horse Show Series As 2010 starts of a lot of wonderful things have taken place recently. Most of you are aware that we were selected as the venue for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Your support of our efforts is greatly appreciated. Over the next few years you will see many amazing changes and improvements to the Caledon Equestrian Park. It is truly an exciting opportunity for the horse people of Ontario. On top of everything else our success of hosting and the results achieved at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games gave all Canadians a great reason to be incredibly proud. Our Elite Athletes seem to have started the season where they left off last year. The Nations Cup Victory is a great step on their road to success at the upcoming World Equestrian Games later this year. We wish them the best of luck. Thanks to all of the great support from you the inaugural Canadian Show Jumping Tournament was a huge success last fall. We raised and donated in excess of $40,000 to the Children’s Wish Charity. I have no doubt it will be put to great use. A major component of this contribution came from the horse community. You should be very proud of the effort you made. Plans are well underway to even do better in 2010. We have also been selected to host the 2010 finals for the Jump Canada Young Horse Program. This is a great series with an impressive amount of prize money being offered. For many 2009 was a difficult year. We appreciate the support you provided us in tough economic times and we hope that the recent recovery will permit you to enjoy your horses even more this year. New this year is the addition of a 3’3” hunter division for junior and amateur riders. We think that many of you will be able to take advantage of this new section. It is hoped that it will fill a gap that had previously existed. Our discounted stall rate for circuit stalls proved to work very well and we trust many of you will take advantage of the program as it continues this year. We have made every effort to contain our costs and it is reflected in very few small changes to our fees. We appreciate your support and hope that you continue to enjoy showing at the Caledon Equestrian Park. Let us know how we can be of assistance. Craig
