Step 2. Now, look for the square rubber frame inside the ink absorber and pull it towards you until it is completely detached from the printer. Lift it out of the printer by pulling the frame to the left side and unplug the power cord of the printer.
Step 3. Pull the two foam ink absorber out of the rubber frame and place it in the bowl filled with warm water and soap. Scrub it gently to release the ink.

Step 4. Now, allow the rubber frame and ink absorber segment to dry completely. After that, slide the foam ink absorber back into the rubber frame.
Step 5. Place the rubber frame back into the printer and press it carefully until it is locked into its place. After that, push close the plastic lid.
