Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy word It is my honor to be a part of the Job Fair 2017-18 Event, an event that has been held in Faculty of Pharmacy for 13 consecutive years. I do believe that our main aim in the faculty is not only delivering knowledge to our students, but also providing them with a preliminary perception of the challenges that await them in terms of variety of opportunities.

Our Faculty is keen on keeping pace with all these challenges through several channels. Enhancement of quality in all programs with aim of graduating promising generations is one of the means. In addition, students who are just few steps away from graduation, are given the chance through this Job Fair to connect with job-market in form of direct contact with their future recruiters and professionals.

Finally, this event could not be made possible without the support and assistance of Job Fair Sponsors as well as the hardworking students organizing it. I am seizing this opportunity to express my gratitude to every person who made this event a fruitful, beneficial, experiential and a possible one.

EPSF-Alex Academic Supervisor word

The Job Fair event held every year by Faculty of Pharmacy, is one of the most awaited events by our students especially those who are at the doorstep of beginning their career and undertaking their final decision in how to create their future.

This Fair offers a chance for the students to meet representatives of different participating institutions, national and multinational reputed pharmaceutical companies, large-chain pharmacies and training centers.

Students will be able to submit their resumes and learn from the representatives the various criteria and requirements needed for jobs in their field of specialization.

They will have the chance as well to be hired as summer interns and to form relationships that may result in a long term employment in the future.

Organizing such event wasn’t an easy job if I may say that. It wasn’t possible without the helping hand of the hardworking EPSF students. Their tremendous effort presented this event as an unforgettable experience to be grabbed by students walking towards the world of professionalism.

So focus on the positive vibes, prepare yourself and enjoy this event to the most!

EPSF-Alex President word In EPSF-Alex we always seek to fill the gap between pharmacy students,their universty studies and real life work and market requirements. The Job Fair is one of these steps.

We hope through the Fair, we will provide pharmacy students with training and work opportunities in Multi-International and local pharmaceutical companies, pharmacy chains, training centers and hospitals, as an earilier unique chance before graduation.

The Job Fair for this year is just a cornor stone and a start for long-waited-for dream for EPSFers.

A special thank for all organizers who worked to bring dream into reality and help in rising the new era.

In the framework of the mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Alexandria University and EPSF-Alex and our continuous attempts to develop the pharmacy profession and raise the level of the colleges’ students and graduates and prepare them to be qualified, specialized and skilled healthcare providers for the sake of the future of the Pharmacy career.

We are really proud for organizing the Job Fair 2018, to help open communication channels between the students and graduates from one side, healthcare agencies and pharmaceutical companies from the otherside.

Another aim of this event is to prepare our students with the specialized knowledge and professional skills to meet the real requirements of the employer companies.

At last I would like to thank the great team who worked day and night for this event to make it real.

The Job Fair was realy a dream, and now it becomes true.

Who We Are? The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport ALUMNI was established in August 1998 and is the first official entity to provide real service to the graduates.

The academy’s management has joined forces to develop an advanced program that is suitable for providing the best support service to the graduate.

Vision: The Association shall be the bridge of continuous and rapid communication between the graduates and the academy.

Mission: To activate and develop communication and cooperation channels with graduates through providing services and career development activities, and supporting scientific research that supports the graduates and qualifies them to the recent labor market requirements at the local and international levels.

Target Group: All the graduates of the AAST who have bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees.

Fair Days - Opening The day started with special talks by EPSF-Alex president 2017-18, Mr. Ibrahim Medan,

and job fair chairman 2017-18, Mr. Gamal Dief,

about our entity and the objectives beyond holding the job fair.

Fair Days - Opening We were honored by the attendance of Dr. Onsy Elshaf’y, The chairman of pharmacists syndicate.

In addition, we had special talks from our Diamond sponsor “ Abou Zeyada” pharmacies

Finally, we ended the day with a session about CV writing

Fair Days Job fair is not a normal event, it’s something bigger!

It’s like the fairy which carries hopes and wishes of all pharmacy students, turning them into real living event!

So we had this responsibility on our shoulders to make it something unique in the hearts of all pharmacy students.

We set our goals prepared well for our mission, counting every minute, focusing on the smallest issues, predicting the obstacles that could possibly face us.

Fair Days For the next two days, we started early receiving applicants from different classes organizing them using round system inside the tent “which was like a shrine to us” each round was a one way round and didn’t exceed 15 minutes inside the tent.

Sponsors and Companies: Lots of national and multi-national companies came to our fair as Astrazeneca, Eva Pharma, Eipico, Easy care, Novartis, Sanofi, Orchidia and Sedico.

With the attendance of our Diamond sponsor, “Abou Zeyada Pharmacies” and “The Arab Academy for science, Technology and Maritime Transport ALUMINI” our golden sponsor.

Fair Days Also, the medical campus was overwhelmed with our special food and beverage sponsors which were “ ‫כ‬ ‫ ” א‬and “Champillion juices” who did a great job in making a special two days of the job fair.

Special Aids: The CV consultant, Mr. Ahmed Mustafa, was out there giving tips, correcting mistakes in applicants’ CVs and helping those who did not have CV in filling their CV correctly with the aid of Alexandrian EPSF.ers who came carrying their laptops to give an arm to those who had not written their CVs yet.
