1. Why did you choose to send Beirne ’10 to Episcopal High School? We knew of Rob Hershey’s outstanding reputation, and we felt 100 percent confident about his leadership and the solid foundation on which EHS stands. Alumni, such as Boota deButts, Jack Carter, all of the Fred Bocock family, and many more, began selling us on the School many years ago. Parents and students we talked to, such as the Gottwalds and Harrisons, had nothing but positive comments about the School. We felt EHS would develop our son’s strengths, be challenging, and provide a nurturing environment. When visiting, we immediately felt that “sense of community.”
2. Tell us about your most recent visit to Episcopal. I am always struck on my visits to EHS by the friendliness of the faculty, students, and staff. Nine times out of 10 everyone looks you in the eye and speaks.
