With The Pinwheels

When Jaya approached me to work on this project, I was ready to go. As an apprentice muralist, I focused on blocking in the large areas of color on CLTRE and the pinwheels. The pinwheels were the biggest challenge for me. To protect the sharp center, I worked from section-to-section using various tools to avoid overspray. I’m proud of the finished area. It always feels good to avoid many ‘touch-ups’ at the end, knowing I worked so meticulously.

I feel so blessed to have worked on a large-scale project like this. I feel even more blessed, working alongside close friends to complete the job. This is more than just a mural — it is a reminder to be valiant and persist through life’s challenges, acknowledging the difference you make in this world.
