Global markets at a glance Wall Street stocks ended lower on Friday, capping a day of heavy trading with investors mostly pulling back from initial concerns over an escalating trade dispute between the United States and China.U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled an initial list of strategically important goods that would be subject to a 25 percent tariff effective July 6, a move China's Commerce Ministry called "a threat to China's economic interest and security."
World Indices
Asian shares wobbled on Friday as investors braced for US tariffs against China, while the euro flirted with two-week lows after a cautious European Central Bank indicated it would not raise interest rates for some time.

Hindalco US President Donald Trump has made up his mind to impose “pretty significant” tariffs and will unveil a list targeting USD 50 billion of Chinese goods on Friday, an administration official said. Beijing has warned that it was ready to respond.While it is not clear when Trump will activate the measures, rising Sino-US trade tensions will put additional pressure on China’s economy, which is starting to show signs of cooling under the weight of a multi-year crackdown on riskier lending. The Bank Nifty has been forming small-bodied candles from the last couple of sessions, indicating the absence of follow through on both sides.
