means of ritual, it will only take the rawhide, such as the head, skin, legs, tail and some parts of the bone like the ribs, legs and spine. “In addition, the committee also prepares an ajang rice allocation put in a row on tutub leaf. The number of ajang rice prepared is according to the number of villagers,” said Kubayan Jero Mangku Ketut Diatmika while accompanying Nyoman Sudartana. The whole ajang rice put in line across the area where the ngangon procession is implemented. So, at the end of the ceremony all the residents are then welcomed to ask for the rice to take home. There is a unique moment in this event where villagers attending the ritual must shout to imitate the sound of animals such as goats and cows. Local people believe this way is indirectly praying for cattle’s survival or avoiding them from any disease or outbreak. “Ajang rice is then given to cattle raised by residents, so as not to get exposed,” continued Kubayan Jero Mangku Ketut Diatmika. Locals are quite self-sufficient in the matter of funding. All the paraphernalia such as coconut, rice and donation are obtained from residents. In addition to be
