anah Lot tourist attraction was thronged by travelers when the Hindus performed ritual procession of welcoming Galungan and Kuningan feast day. The tourist attraction located in Tabanan was visited by many domestic and overseas travelers. Typically, the immense number of visitors to Tanah Lot lasts until Sunday. Moreover, Tanah Lot will organize two religious activities namely piodalan or anniversary of Pakendungan Temple (Apr. 15) and Tanah Lot Temple (Apr. 19-22). Other than travelers, local people of generally the Hindus also came to Tanah Lot to say prayers. “From our observation, on Galungan day the number of travelers is balanced. Most local people come to pray. So, those who say prayers are not charged with admission ticket,” he said. This April, added Toya Adnyana, there will be two religious ceremonies at Tanah Lot. They are anniversary of Pakendungan Temple coinciding with Kuningan feast day falling on Saturday (Apr. 15) and Tanah Lot Temple exactly three days after the Kuningan or Buda (Wednesday) Wage Langkir (Apr. 19),” he added. A convoy of the Hindus in Bali continued to arrive in traditional clothing while carrying their sanctified effigies towards the beach. This cultural procession became interesting spectacle for travelers that happened to enjoy holiday at the tourist attraction. Melasti procession of Beraban village on Wednesday (Mar. 25) involved hundreds of residents of Beraban village originating from fifteen customary hamlets. Thus, it drew the attention of travelers. “Many travelers intentionally came because they want to see cultural attraction frequently held at the Tanah Lot tourist attraction,” said Operations Manager of Tanah Lot Attraction, Toya Adnyana. All the visitors, both foreign and domestic, enthusiastically witnessed the pemelastian ceremony at Tanah Lot. Moment of the ceremony was not missed by visitors to take pictures of the crowd and the pilgrims coming to say prayers at the Tanah Lot Temple. The convoy of pemelastian indeed looked lovely. Rows of humans were carrying sacred objects like umbrella, lelontek, bandrang, spears and shields. Then, the rows carrying the sanctified effigies chanted hymns vivaciously. The melasti procession was accompanied by bleganjur gamelan music that caused the atmosphere to become more magical. The bearers then plunged their feet into coastal waters as a symbol of purification for the implementation of Nyepi taking place calmly and peacefully. “The purificatory rite is intended to target the macrocosm and microcosm,” said Putu Parta, one of the melasti participants. ave you ever try Lempog? It is one of Balinese traditional food is reraly found in the stores and supermaket. Lempog is usually being sold in thetraditional market or small stores in the village. It is understandable because it is not an exclusive dish, lempog is usualy being enjoyed by the farmers.

Lempog is a cheap dish because it is using a simple material such as Balinese sugar and cassava. The food is great to accompany us in drinkingtea or coffee. In Java, Lempog is also known as Getuk. Before, Lempog is not only enjoyed by farmers but also served on Hindus ceremonies such as wedding and Ngaben.

Not only that, when the locals work together in building house or a kitchen, Lempog always becomea snack, just like when the farmer work in the field. In addition to use very easy materials, the process of making it is also very simple. It doesn’t need a big machine or factory. Everything can be done at home. To make it, first the cassava must be pealed and cut into smaller pieces and then boiled. The red sugar chopped into smaller pieces so it can dissolved with the cassava. Therefore, he continued to push any program. “Now, we focus on quality after improving the infrastructures like classroom and building. Then, we increase the accreditation of the study program. There are nine study programs under pre-accreditation and being proposed, plus corrections,

arious efforts need to be made to maintain the existence of homestay in Ubud area. The most basic things involve the improvement on the quality of human resources of the management and services by maintaining the typical characteristics of Balinese culture. This was expressed by Chairman of the Ubud Home Stay Association (UHSA), I.B. Wiryawan. According to the man familiarly addressed as Gus De Wiryawan, based on the seminar on research results of the STP Bali Nusa Dua, the services at homestay should be improved so that the business is able BTN/kmb to survive in the midst of I.B. Related to competition, Prof. Arya stated there are 11 art colleges in Indonesia and the ISI Denpasar belongs to the three major Indonesian art colleges which has its own advantages, in addition to the ISI Yogyakarta and ISI Solo. “ISI Denpasar is competitive because every art college has its own advantages or superiority. Now, Bali has a strong cultural root and is known to become the tourism magnet,” he added.

was officiated over by Jro Mangku Sukadini and attended by Jro Gde Batur Alitan and the business management team leader of Batur customary village, I Wayan Absir, and a number of Batur customary villagers. The business management team leader of Batur customary village, I Wayan Absir, explained that he will look at the context of governance.

As management, he is very grateful to be given the mandate and confidence for the task to manage the region. The management will also manage the assets owned by customary village well so as to provide economic benefits for Batur village. “We hope the inauguration of Tirta Pancoran Solas will become a new means that can be utilized economi-

cally,” he said. He said that Batur is a vital area considering that Lake Batur and Mount Batur belong to a very sacred area. By doing so, the management must work well. “Ancient texts mention that the water of rivers and lakes in Bali sources from Batur. So, we will take advantage of this potential,” he said. He added that the Tirta Pancoran Solas is different from other tirta penglukatan or purificatory water in Bali. This one has warm water. Thus, he has confidence that it is going to become one of the purificatory icons. “Tirta Pancoran Solas can be the only purificatory means with naturally warm water without the touch of machine. Convergence of mountains and lakes causes the estuary to have warm water. We take this potential into Tirta Pancoran Solas attraction,” explained Absir. He said further that the Tirta Pancoran Solas attraction will serve as a spiritual destination. This area is believed to be able to attract people wishing to perform purificatory rite.

I Made Bakti Wiyasa Various Indonesian Coffees

Build Village Gallery for Village Children n the art world, the name of I Made Bakti Wiyasa has been quite familiar. Aside from giving birth to imaginative artworks, this man born at Pemanis hamlet on April 10, 1974 is also busy fostering children in the city of Denpasar. In teaching the art to children, he has the principle ‘if you can dream you can draw.’ In the process, he does not only teach about the works of art, but also provide character education and creative power of children. Now, this artist who received the Lempad Prize 2016 is building a gallery at his home village at Pemanis hamlet, Penebel, Tabanan. Through the gallery, he would like to gather village children to be taught to paint together. Painting is different from drawing because the painting is more imaginative.

I

“I think that providing the art education to children is important,” he said. According to him, currently the development of children is vulnerable that simply becomes ‘the user’ of modern technology products like smartphone, gadget and laptop with game applications bringing in difficulty to the growth of children’s creativity. “It is very hazardous because it can make our children as the heir of golden generation civilization into passive generation. As a result, it will become the target market having no power to survive and to do creativity,” he said. This alumnus of the Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta said that the gallery has been prepared since 2004, but only since 2017 he has been confident to live and work at the village. “I

realize that my village is one of the true living libraries for my ideas and next artworks. Through the theme Pertiwi Jati (literally, Genuine Earth), I will take the children to learn to paint,” he added. Armed with the background in the art and spirituality, he considered to have a responsibility to introduce the arts to children. The impetus came after he has a wealth of experience in exhibition and organization, both in Bali and in other cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Surabaya and Yogyakarta. Due to his love to children, he also initiated the Rare Bali Festival with Penggak Men Mersi cultural house. In painting, this artist from Pemanis hamlet, Biaung, Penebel, has a figurative surrealistic style. He immortalizes a lot of the human objects, but still incorporates with the imaginative power. By doing so, the spiritual message can be easily delivered to the audience. In addition to painting, his daily activities are helping others in terms of health with the healing method inherited from Balinese ancestors. Incidentally he is also the aspirant, explorer and preserver of ancient culture of the archipelago. It is associated with the natural harmony of education, ‘healing’ and kris culture. “I learned this old fashioned method of ancestral code of nature, mountains, old trees and ancient sites such as temples and menhir,” he said. In the healing process, he does

not use any drugs. It is a method of healing with quantum physics of the Balinese ancestors remaining to be practiced by Balinese

people on Tumpek Uduh. “To the trees, we do wholehearted prayers to plants and nature,” he concluded. B N (BTN/015)

Balinese People in Diaspora

Gde Palgunadi palgunadigde@yahoo.com

Today, a resident of Bali in diaspora no longer feels upset, sad or homesick, especially during religious holidays. One of the Balinese residents who have been living in Europe, for instance, said that in the past he longed for going home during holidays. Right now, although the feeling remains to exist it is not like what he felt before. urrently, he said, in Europe there are many Balinese people and so are sanctums or temples. Thus, he added, it is not as sad as he used to be when coinciding with religious holidays in diaspora like on Galungan, Kuningan, Nyepi and others. There have been a lot of Balinese societies spreading

overseas. They can gather and exchange stories. They can still conduct religious and customary activities overseas like preparing lawar delicacy, praying at temples, playing gamelan, dancing and so on. Other than in Europe, they also spread in various parts of the world like in the United States, Asia, Australia and many more. Currently, Bali people overseas are really able to carry out religious devotion and customs of their home land. They keep the home village tradition overseas. For those living outside Bali, but remain in the regions of Indonesia, have been much better. Temples have almost been available across the country, especially in big cities. When their longing is unbearable, many modes of transportation are available to return home. So, they can feel the vibration of their ancestral land directly. It has been much different and the sense is expected approximately the same. Celebrating holiday overseas is indeed different, but the essence obtained is the same. It is the expression of gratitude to God for all the graces bestowed. Thank to the ancestors for all the legacies given. As the current generation, we are just taking care of and preserving it. We that live in Bali and those living overseas have the same task to keep this heritage from being crushed by the era. We must work together so that Bali still exudes a unique charm as a unique island along with its various advantages. Being Balinese people living overseas are an option and very good. Living and working in Bali while preserving religion, culture and customs is also an excellent option. We mutually remind and preserve our valuable heritages. B N (BTN/055)

ripAdvisor defined Bali as the best destination, and even surpassed London (UK) and Paris (France). Both destinations were respectively ranked second and third under Bali. In the meantime, the fourth to tenth position are respectively occupied by Roma (Italy), New York (USA), Crete (Greece), Barcelona (Spain), Siem Riep (Cambodia), Prague (Czech Republic) and Phuket (Thailand ). Head of the Bali Tourism Office, A.A. Gede Yuniartha Putra, when asked for his confirmation on Thursday (Mar. 23) justified the awarding of Bali as The Best Destination in the World by TripAdvisor. The information was obtained on Wednesday (Mar. 22) from the ministry of tourism. “TripAdvisor is a big enough

institution. So, it has a team to assess. I do not know whether this happened due to the going viral of King Salman’s visit. Probably, it could also boost because it beat out destinations of big countries,” he said last Thursday. Other than King Salman, added Yuniartha, the branding of Wonderful Indonesia echoed by the ministry of tourism overseas is also likely to influence the assessment. It happened because the promotion conducted by the ministry of tourism put Bali at the forefront and then followed by the other regions. “Surely, this can be very powerful because the branding of Wonderful Indonesia is already known throughout the world. Well ...it may come with the presence of taksu (divine vibration) of Bali having made it ranked first,” he explained. Yuniartha believed that the power of Balinese taksu plays quite significant role. This award is not the first time for Bali especially in 2017 alone. Last February, Bali was named as the best island for 12 years in succession by DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards (RCA) in 2017 based in

Singapore. “It signifies that people are still glancing at our cultural tourism. Branding has its value, the higher the branding attached to particular products, the products will be getting more expensive. Like branded products, no matter how much the price set, if people like, they will certainly purchase,” he added. Yuniartha asked people not to remain silent, but must help the government in improving the destinations in their respective region. The government will provide guidance for tourist destinations. Overall, this year Bali province allocates the budget of approximately IDR 15 billion for tourism development, including promotion and branding. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Tourism Industry Association of Indonesia (GIPI) of Bali, Ida Bagus Agung Partha Adnyana, said that Bali over the years has often got a top position in the category of World’s Best Island or Asia’s Best Destination. However this time, the award of TripAdvisor seems very special because Bali wins in the major category, namely the World’s Best Destination. “Actually, this award belongs to the whole people of Bali for the awarding of Bali as the world’s best destination,” he said. The Janger dance with typical style of Menyali had faded and even has gone to the edge of extinction due to competition with modern Janger developing during this period. This inaugural staging drew the attention of many people to watch. Residents were curious about the action of the elderly Janger dancers. When they made performance on stage, the atmosphere changed into being noisy with the cheers of spectators. It happened because the male dancers appeared in the

ourism objects in Buleleng district are not only limited to beaches, lakes and waterfalls. Along with its development, riverside is also transformed into an object that is quite capable of attracting travelers to make a visit. For example, it has been done by Tao (shaded) Park at Bantang Banua neighborhood, Sukasada village/subdistrict. The park newly opened last month is right on the bank of the Banyumala River that offers crystal clear water and heavy water flow. It is quite easy to get to the park. Visitors from Denpasar can find first the intersection of Three Monument or Sangket Terminal. Approximately 400 meters to the west, the location can be immediately found. At that time, the eyes will be immediately pampered by verdant trees and the rush of river water remaining to look very clear. Such an atmosphere will be able to directly eliminate your fatigue after a hectic activity. When making a visit to the object, you cannot just take photos but also unwind, sit on some chairs and tables and gazebo lining at the edge of the river. Then, it looks more beautiful when equipped with colorful umbrellas looking like a rainbow. If you are hungry, do not worry. Various culinary delicacies and drinks can be easily found at this location. The park owner, Made Yasamada, said the making of the park covering an area of 26.5 square meters was inspired by his concern over the river that is used as a landfill. Vile impression cannot be avoided. “Initially, this location was very dirty. Then, I cleaned it up and instantly made into a park,” he said not long ago. Since the initial opening, the park has been able to attract people to make a visit, especially those of young age. For instance, Dea, a teenager form Busungbiu, is intrigued to visit because it is haunted by her curiosity after seeing a post on social media. “It’s very nice. The air is cool and very quiet. Besides, it is suitable for a visit,” she said. Clean river fitted with river stones also attracts visitors to make it into the background of their photos. In addition, visitors would also like to enjoy the cool mountain water, so infrequently visitors take a bath at the location. With a myriad of sensations, this park should be included in your traveling agenda. BTN

nother new platform for selfie has been created. Located at Pancaseming hamlet, Batuagung, Jembrana, it has become one Bull-racing Center of the popular attractions in Jembrana since last month. This forest-near hamlet with friendly people, in fact, has considerable natural beauty. Cliff top with the nickname ‘JR’ becomes one of the spots offering landscape view from the hills. Uniquely, this location becomes widely known after young people of the village uploaded the photos on social media. After getting word of mouth promotion, the JR hill can attract people to visit the location. This condition is made into opportunities by surrounding young people largely consisting of estate farmers. It is just for parking and selling drinks around the location. Although it is independently managed, it could draw 4,000 visitors last February. They are not only the residents of Jembrana but also those from outside the town, especially on weekend. JR cliff offers various landscape panoramas of the Negara town to vast ocean from a height. Best time to make a visit to the JR cliff is late afternoon because the weather is not too hot. Rugged terrain to reach the location will get paid with views on the cliff top. Local residents provide a platform made from natural materials that can be climbed so that visitors can see from the height. Similarly, there is a tree house that enables visitors to see the view of Negara town from the height. Ida Bagus Artawan, 34, hamlet chief of Pancaseming, said that JR name was first introduced by Budi Sastra customary youth club standing for teenage encounter (jumpa remaja). It was inspired by the fact this location is often used as a meeting place of young people. Since it was opened early January, it has been visited by many travelers considering the location is also quite close or only about 7 km from the town center. Visitors are only charged with voluntary donation used to improve various facilities such as the newly built tree house and beautifying all the plants along the path to the summit. “To improve the management, we hope there will be assistance to repair the existing facilities considering they are not permanent yet and only relies on self-financing. In addition, the road access is still poor to allow visitors to pass through,” said Artawan. He also hoped, in addition to physical development support, the support in the form of community empowerment. Thus, people will also have knowledge about the management of the attraction such as waste management, foreign language skills and others in the future. In addition to visitors from Jembrana, there are also those from outside the district like Gianyar and Badung. “They claimed to get the information from social media,” he said. From the logbook filled in by visitors, the visit reached 4,000 people last month. Pancaseming is one of the hamlets at the northernmost tip of Batuagung village. In addition to JR Hill, Batuagung also has a number of historic sites such as Independence Valley memorial park. Both offer spectacular and unspoiled view. BTN

ali Arts Festival (BAF) is now entering the 39th implementation. The Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar has prepared Gurnita Murti musical dance-drama entitled Kresna Dwipayana to open the BAF 2017.

B

The drama tells about the story on the preparation of the Mahabharata epic by Bhagavan Vyasa. “It means to offer a new creativity and other colors, so that the art presentation will not be monotonous,” said Deputy Rector IV of the ISI Denpasar, I Ketut Garwa. If the opening session of the previous years was presented the ballet and oratory, this year will be presented the Gurnita Murti, so there is a new variation. It is also to involve all the study programs owned by the ISI Denpasar. “Through this composition we’d like to disseminate the entire study program available, so that this composition takes advantage of the entire academic persons,” he added. The musical dance-drama remains to de-

liver tradition in appropriate with the theme of this year’s BAF namely the “Ulun Danu or Water as the Source of Life. It originates in the traditional theater or arja operetta. However, the delivery of the message can be made through singing (a song) and the narrative in Bahasa Indonesian. “The song will be chanted directly by the players. Indeed it is difficult to find out the artist that can dance and sing simultaneously,” he said. If there are players who are less able to sing, it will be overcome by offstage players, like a puppeteer. The composition with the duration of about 45 minutes will be accompanied by collaboration of gong gede gamelan music, jazz fusion and Western music such as violin, keyboard and guitar. “Although it is a collaborative traditional music, the traditional elements are still dominant so that it will not go out of the pattern, namely the exploration, preservation and development,” he explained. Such efforts are meant to showcase new works and make a surprise to the audience and the people of Bali that will attend the opening ceremony at the open stage of the

Arda Candra, Denpasar Art Center. “It is the idea of the rector, so there is a kind of a new touch offered to the public. It’s a bigger challenge, but will still come with all the strength and components,” he added. In addition, his authority also has a duty to perform the greatness dance of Bali Province entitled Bali Dwipa Jaya and the chorus along with the supporting instruments to entertain guests and sing the anthem Indonesia Raya. ISI Denpasar also performs the welcome dance in the parade entitled Siwanataraja and the show entitled Ketug Bumi involving 225 gamelan players with a variety of percussions. To that end, he has held training and preparation from March 16, 2017 to maximize the training and the selection of appropriate role to play. “We expect the support of all parties so that these activities can run well and could affect the image of Bali in maintaining the preservation of culture as local, national and international tourist destination,” he said. mbassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Jakarta has partnered with the ROLE Foundation since early February in a campaign to raise public awareness about the magnitude of the garbage problem faced by the Island of Bali. So far, many residents illegally dispose of 5,000 cubic meters of garbage each day in many parts of the island or about 1.8 million cubic meters per year. In rainy season, solid waste such as plastic, metal coating, rubber, styrofoam and others is flowing into rivers and irrigation channel leading to paddy fields of subak (irrigation cooperative). Then, it further flows to all beaches in Bali, sea and coral reefs in the vicinity. Actually 80 percent of the activities in Bali depend on tourism and tourism depends on clean land, beach, cliff and the sea. The impact of waste mixing with water is the emergence of mosquitoes that eventually leads to diseases such as dengue fever. Balinese people also burn 30 percent of plastic waste, metal coating, styrofoam and others. Combustion of this waste can disrupt reproductive system in children and cause lung diseases and mental disorders. The odor of rotting garbage

n Bali, water is considered to be extremely important and widely held in very high esteem for its practical applications, cosmological significance and religious functions. Tirta is the Balinese word for holy water and is a symbol of God’s blessings as well as a conduit for purification or holiness. Certain natural springs are said to issue forth Tirta but almost any clean water can be rendered into Tirta through specific ritual means and prayers. Balinese Hindus are sprinkled with and drink holy water after praying in the temple to fortify their prayers and as a symbolic act of the final cleansing which prayers bring to the body and mind and that leads to peace and happiness. Tirta is also used for a number of other ritual purposes and is always venerated. B N

mbassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Jakarta has partnered with the ROLE Foundation since early February in a campaign to raise public awareness about the magnitude of the garbage problem faced by the Island of Bali.

The festival of this year featured the theme ‘Sudamala’ or shared positive energy in order to achieve wellness. It was opened by the Mayor of Denpasar, I.B. Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra. Exactly at 16:00, the omedomedan tradition was begun where local customary youth club or sekaa taruna undertook worship followed by the performance of barong

bangkung. After that, the customary youth club consisting of boys and girls lined up, and the spray of water was commenced while uplifting one by one of the boys and girls to do the omed-omedan tradition. Spontaneously, visitors started cheering and watching the actions. Mayor Rai Mantra said that the omed-omedan as a unique tradition is expected to increase the number of travelers visiting the city of Denpasar. Innovations have been made in the Sesetan Heritage Omed-omedan Festival where this event is packed with various events such as brotherhood market of Sesetan, cultural parade as well as competitions. Chief of Sesetan customary village, Ketut Suparjaya, said that his authority made innovations every year in the implementation of the Sesetan Heritage Omed-omedan Festival. “It is not just meant to jazz up the Caka New Year 1939 and attract travelers, but also to increase people’s economy and develop entrepreneurship among young generation by organizing Sesetan brotherhood market filled in by about 120 booths of the local

ourism objects in Buleleng district are not only limited to beaches, lakes and waterfalls.

BTN

This inaugural staging drew the attention of many people to watch. Residents were curious about the action of the elderly Janger dancers. When they made performance on stage, the atmosphere changed into being noisy with the cheers of spectators. It happened because the male dancers appeared in the

Headman of Menyali, Made Jaya Harta, said that approximately in 1938, the Janger Menyali was so famous. In harmony with the passage of times, the Janger Menyali is endangered and unable to compete against modern Janger or better known as the creation Janger. Thus, he added, it is not as sad as he used to be when coinciding with religious holidays in diaspora like on Galungan, Kuningan, Nyepi and others. B N (BTN/055)

institution.

Indonesian embassy in Zagreb hoped to bring seven travel agencies from Indonesia and four travel agencies from Europe to the Place2Go tourism fair this year. “It is a good opportunity to attract travelers from Croatia as well as European travelers in Croatia for a visit to Indonesia,” said Widjoseno Croatia with a population of 4.2 million is able to bring in an average of 12 million travelers every year.

B N (BTN/015)

he Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar is the only higher art education on the Island of the Gods. Thus, through the arts owned it is able to support tourism in Bali. “Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, M Nasir, hoped the art institute could be used to support tourism,” said Rector of ISI Denpasar, Prof. Dr I Gede Arya Sugiartha. According to him, the message was delivered when the minister formally inaugurated him as the rector of the ISI Denpasar for the period of 2017-2022 in the Auditorium D of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in Jakarta on Wednesday (Mar. 22). In addition, the ISI Denpasar is also expected to give birth to reliable and creative artists as well as to create new programs so as to respond to the challenges ahead. Bali as a world’s tourist destination has a uniqueness so that it can be easily distinguish from the other destinations. “ISI Denpasar has advantages and is prominent in the art, so that the minister requested to become the leading producer of creative artists that are able to become the repertoire of our cultural preservation,” he said. Prof. Arya said that the art institute he leads will focus on completing the vision of the ISI Denpasar in 2020 becoming the center of excellence in terms of local wisdom-based cultural and universal art insight. “We hope that by 2018 the entire study program could have achieved accreditation including the new study program of cinematography and television. Besides, the accreditation of the institution is targeted to reach A grade,” said Prof. Arya. Vision 2020 should be achieved, so that in 2021 there should have been a new vision.

Wiryawan. According to the man familiarly addressed as Gus De Wiryawan, based on the seminar on research results of the STP Bali Nusa Dua, the services at homestay should be improved so that the business is able BTN/kmb to survive in the midst of I.B. creation and writing. Hopefully, these all can be achieved,” he explained.

With the many incoming visitors, it is expected to have economic impact on local communities. “Here, we have prepared some supporting facilities such as Seked restaurant. It is not far because only 50 meters from location of the Tirta Pancoran Solas,” he said. Meanwhile, Jro Gede Batur Alitan said that Tirta Pancoran Solas has different names according to its respective function. The eleven names of the showers are Tirta Telaga Waja, Tirta Danu Gadang, Tirta Danu Kuning, Tirta Bantang Hanyut, Tirta Pelisan, Tirta Mengening, Tirta Purajati, Tirta Rajeng Anyar, Tirta Yeh Bungkah, Yeh Tirta Mampeh and Tirta Perapen. “All water of the shower has same function namely for purificatory rite, but the name is different. The water tends to be used for holy bathing,” said Jro Gde Batur Alitan. He described that visitors or pilgrims wishing to perform purificatory rite at the Tirta Pancoran Solas is free of charge. dozens of travelers coming with motorcycles and cars looked to enter the tourist attraction located on Jalan Raya Sangeh, Abiansemal, Badung. “Until midday, there have been 3,000 visitors. The visitors are still dominated by domestic travelers,” said Operations Manag-
