One of the members of the Coalition of the Press Freedom and Human Rights Care, Dr. Wayan Jondra, stated that prayers and
worship were actually meaningful. The worship was not only intended to make the Tri Hita Karana—denoting an appreciation to the trinity
consisting of nature, environment and the Creator—remain in a harmonious relationship. However, the worship also signified a real
expression to maintain the selfrealization and actualization of basic freedom from any pressure and threats attempting to topple the ideal order of life. “These prayers en masse are really meaningful both horizontally and vertically,” he said. The joint worship in the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple was focused on the sanctum sanctorum of the Natar Agung. Continued on page 6
