Tucked into the historic architecture of Downtown Astoria, with a beautiful view of the majestic Columbia River, our farmers market brings together talented farm, food, craft, and musical entrepreneurs from the region, creating a unique and joyful atmosphere and a fun shopping experience for everyone.

Last summer I took some photos at the Sunday market hoping to get a few ideas for a painting or two to do in the rainy winter months. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received an invitation to submit some ideas for this year’s Astoria Sunday Market poster. Spring Up Farm’s colorful display of fresh vegetables provided me with perfect inspiration for my painting that would become this year’s poster.

Astoria Sunday Market is just one of many ways to access local food on the North Coast!

Astoria Sunday Market works to support food access for all visitors and community members alike. The market creates a unique opportunity for you to meet your local farmers and learn all about their farms and the food they grow and bring to the market. Ask your farmers about their produce and their growing practices. They love to talk about what they do!

Our food vendors accept SNAP/EBT and we also have a Double-Up Food Bucks match. We match every SNAP dollar spent, up to $20, with Double-Up Food Bucks that can be spent on fresh produce or produce-bearing plants.

Many of our farmers also accept Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP) and WIC checks!

Visit the Market Information Booth to purchase SNAP tokens and receive your Double Up Food Bucks match.
