As we reflect on our work in 2024, we want to take a moment to recognize the exciting and productive year we ’ ve shared with so many impactful nonprofit communities.
We have had the pleasure of serving 114 unique clients, partnering across a variety of services. We extend our thanks and gratitude to those dedicated individuals and organizations committed to making a positive impact in the nonprofit sector. We’re excited to continue delivering high-impact solutions and extending our support to more key regions around the country
Since our inception in 2011, Envision Consulting has established offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Denver Our focus remains on Executive Search and Strategic Consulting Services, including leadership transitions, strategic planning, organizational assessments, board development, mergers, and compensation studies
Our unique strength lies in understanding and implementing actionable change within the nonprofit sector Our partners and senior consultants - all former executive leaders - bring practical experience in executive leadership, securing funding, navigating grants, and successfully leading strategic plans and fundraising efforts. We have set a new standard for ourselves, reshaping nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.

In 2024, we had the privilege of working with The Children’s Collective, Inc (TCCI), a human services organization serving South Los Angeles since 1972 Founder Dr Jackie Kimbrough left a lasting legacy, and we were thrilled when Dr Charles LeeJohnson stepped in to lead A motivational speaker, author, and trainer, Dr Lee-Johnson brings a wealth of experience to the role
"It is both an honor and a privilege to return to the community that raised me," he says. "I am eager to provide hope, leadership, and support to the families and children of South Los Angeles. I look forward to continuing the transformational work of Dr. Jackie Kimbrough and expanding The Children's Collective Inc.'s services to enhance education, foster community engagement, and tackle poverty. It truly takes a village, and I'm excited to be a part of this journey."

When lifelong pride advocate Julio Roman joined, we knew it was a perfect fit. With two decades of experience in advocac HIV/AIDS prevention, mental health, and homelessness, he was read lead and invest in the future of this Santa Barbara organization

Envision Consulting was thrilled to lead AMF’s national search for a new CEO. For this remote role, we sought a passionate leader to support AMF’s mission to “mobilize a community for patient support and advocacy ” Carrie Howell was a standout candidate with her distinguished nonprofit career, including executive director roles at Hospitality House, Dup15q Alliance, and a therapeutic home for teen girls

Since 1894, YWCA Greater Los Angeles has been engaged in service that furthers YWCA’s national mission of eliminating racism and empowering women in their community. This past year, they enlisted the talents of Envision to assist them in defining their goals with the creation of a new strategic plan. Recognizing this pivotal moment in their development, CEO Lori Carmona stated, “This plan is both a reflection of our commitment and a forward-looking blueprint to meet LA’s evolving needs ”
Together with Lori and the Board of Directors, led by Chair Kymberly Garrett, we worked to help YWCA Greater Los Angeles develop an inspiring 5-year vision with 10 clear and actionable strategies to help them realize it By enhancing, elevating, and empowering their staff and clients, YWCA Greater Los Angeles is on the path to a thriving future for the women and families they serve.

Established in 1985, Seneca Family of Agencies provides critical, interconnected educational, behavioral health, residential, and wraparound services to children and families The organization has grown steadily for nearly 40 years, more than tripling in size since 2009
To support this growth and change, Seneca engaged our expertise to conduct a compensation benchmark and analysis for their 1,400 employees. Our findings provided the organization with a comprehensive report on compensation competitiveness and employee retention strategies
SPOTLIGHT: The Campbell Center and New Horizons New Horizons and The Campbell Center have been successfully serving San Fernando Valley’s neurodiverse community for 70 years Envision was thrilled to facilitate their merger as we knew it would only strengthen the mission and services each organization provides “At the heart of this merger is our unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities,” says John Brauer, CEO of New Horizons “Together, we will leverage our combined strengths to broaden our reach and pioneer innovative solutions that empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.” The now combined entity plans to develop new programs tailored to meet the unique needs of different demographics within the disability community, including those of high school students transitioning into adulthood, young adults seeking housing and employment and the evolving needs of aging participants. “We plan to build a foundation for services that will support the needs and aspirations of all those we serve for years to come, ” says Muhannad Malki, The Campbell Center Chairperson

SPOTLIGHT: Easterseals Southern California
Easterseals Southern California (ESSC) and AbilityFirst are two extraordinary nonprofit organizations providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities, playing a significant role in improving their lives so that they may achieve their personal best. With this shared vision, we were able to assist a transfer of two major assets from AbilityFirst to ESSC. These residential spaces have furthered ESSC's mission as a premier provider of residential services and allowed AbilityFirst to focus on its core programs. These organizations have worked together beyond this partnership as they continue serving the developmentally disabled community
BoardBuilders is a national subscription-based program supporting Executive Directors, CEOs, and Board Chairs in building stronger, more effective boards Tailored for nonprofits of all sizes and sectors, BoardBuilder services include Board Assessments, Virtual Coaching, Recruitment Support, Roundtables, and Customized Training Whether launching or scaling, BoardBuilders equips leaders with the tools to strengthen governance, enhance communication, boost fundraising, and support new leadership for lasting impact
