Under the advisement of Barcelona based architect Enric Ruiz Geli, I was tasked with creating a felt installation for an existing auditorium space on Virginia Tech's campus. Through multiple iterations, I was able to create and develop an installation that took advantage of the space frame structure of the building's roof. Through an automated cable system I allowed the strips of felt to illustrate the radio waves in the area that were analyzed via an Arduino and transmitter. The intent of this installation was to reveal the radio waves that are invisible, yet saturate our air. This project attracted attention from Virginia Tech staff and I have been commissioned to begin constructing the installtion in late July.
