Like you, my partners and I went into dentistry to own our practices, control our work schedule, and provide for our families. The current dental environment of expensive schooling and corporate consolidation results in most graduates going to work for large corporate mills and eliminates opportunities for doctors to successfully own their practice and compete. Enhance was created to change that.

Our Dental Partnership Organization provides corporate style beneﬁts to doctors and employees, top-tier management services so partner doctors can focus on their patients and ownership opportunities from day one.

We pride ourselves on providing superior Clinical Mentorship that develops doctors into Super Dentists. As Super Dentists, clinicians become proﬁcient in all aspects of general dentistry including, implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting, full mouth reconstruction, wisdom teeth extractions, and orthodontic treatment. DR. KARLA RIOS

Dr. Karla Rios started her dental journey in 2006 as a dental assistant, where she discovered her passion for dentistry. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Rios is Mexican-American and fluent in English and Spanish. She was born and raised in South Oklahoma City, which is where she is an owner in her practice today.

I decided to partner with Enhance right out of school. DR. BEN HUMPHREY

Dr. Ben Humphrey was born and raised in Noble, OK. He graduated in 2009 from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and opened an office in Norman, OK in 2011. After becoming familiar with the Enhance partners and model in 2020, he joined with his practice and has continued to see growth each year.

Being the owner of a highly successful practice, I was not seriously looking to join a group. However, as I began to explore the opportunity with Enhance, I saw the model they have as a way for me to maintain my ownership while at the same time partner with an extremely dynamic and proactive group that would ensure my success no matter the direction dentistry goes in the future.

DR. ASHTON TRACEY

Dr. Ashton Tracey graduated from Midwestern University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2021. Dr. Tracey was born in the United Kingdom but grew up in Roseville, California for most of his life. Within three months of joining Enhance, he became an owner in his practice in Lone Grove, OK.

Enhance has all the beneficial resources of a DSO, while maintaining a private practice feel and working with you to achieve your goals. Coaching is available to help you learn more procedures, learn how to communicate with patients, and even collaborate with other Doctors and team members to secure your financial future. Enhance truly puts you in control and places your interests first.

I have truly benefited from the business mentoring that Enhance provides. I’m developing a plan to own multiple practices, which will help me achieve my financial goals. No matter what goals you will have, Enhance will make it happen! Additionally, there are many Doctors that are willing to help you learn. Mentors are available for hands-on training for a procedure you’d like to learn, an online Doctor group chat is also available to discuss any topic you’ve encountered. Our doctors are there for you to truly grow as a clinician.

Enhance has given me all the resources I needed to achieve my goals. It would have been quite a learning curve to handle the business side on my own. I also had the opportunity to be a solo Doctor in my own office, which has allowed me to gain the repetition I needed to become efficient with my procedures, all while under the care of many mentors. DR. BENJAMIN CUEVAS

Dr. Benjamin Cuevas was born in Santiago, Chile and moved to the United States in 2002. Dr. Cuevas completed his dental education at Midwestern University in Arizona in 2020 and began practicing with Enhance after graduation. He is an owner in two locations in central Oklahoma, where he also practices.

In his own words:

What drove me to join Enhance was the amount of mentorship that is available. The doctors truly care about your success and want to help through any case that you may struggle with. We are always sharing tips and tricks on how to make procedures more effective/profitable. I learn from the doctors I work with on a daily basis.

What separates Enhance from a typical DSO are the relationships that develop within the company. The doctors that I get to work with are truly wonderful friends and mentors that I look up to and can rely on anytime I have a question or need some direction.

I have the ability to run my clinic the way I want with the support and guidance of a corporate structure. Being part of a larger group also gives us the benefit of receiving discounts on parts and supplies which ultimately helps our profits increase. Dr. Bowman (Enhance CEO and Founder) genuinely cares for each doctor and their families. He always puts my best interest and the interest of our doctors first.

DR. JOSEPH APPLE

Dr. Joseph Apple was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. He attended dental school at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry and after graduation, Dr. Apple joined Enhance in 2018. He is an owner in his practice in Harrah, OK and has served his patients there since he joined the company.

In his own words:

One of the most compelling reasons for me to join Enhance was that I had the opportunity to buy a portion of the practice I was working in, resulting in immediate ownership. This meant that I would have autonomy over the office and that I would be the only Doctor practicing in the location I worked at. I had, and continue to have, the support of Enhance clinical and business mentorship, while I worked on my speed, efficiency and leadership skills.

Being a part of Enhance has created a bond of camaraderie and fellowship for me. Within the group we have a group chat that is utilized daily with different cases, sharing issues and successes. My experience with this has been a springboard to avoiding potential pitfalls and also expanding my procedural load.

My experience with Enhance has been very transparent and overall, I partnered with Enhance because of the people I would be working with. I knew that they would provide a high level of care without compromising the core values of the company.

SKILLS

Continuous learning is foundational to providing patients with top quality care. Throughout the year, our clinical staff attends continuous education courses sponsored by Enhance. Additionally, we provide one-on-one training to our business operations team members, allowing them to give patients in supported practices the best experience possible.

Our providers and employees are deeply invested in the communities they serve. From hosting free dental days and providing school dental screenings to participating in main street events and donkey basketball, we believe it is important to give back to the communities that give so much to us.

Fostering a shared sense of unity and purpose among our team members is essential to providing an enhanced employee experience. We regularly host events to build trust, promote relationship building and encourage teamwork.
