Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama series which is based on George R. R. Martin’s book series “A Song of Fire and Ice’. It depicts the struggle for power between two families fighting for control over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Game of Thrones episodes provide some good quotes. These quotes provide very valuable life lessons.

“Death is so terribly final, while life is full of possibilities.”-Tyrion Lannister Everyone has one life to live and that should be lived to the fullest. Life is full of possibilities. Minor setbacks are common in life and a person should never think that life is over until death comes.

“A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge” –Tyrion Lannister Just like a sword should always be sharpened, a mind also should be sharpened. In today’s rapidly changing world you should constantly update yourself to keep pace with the world. Good communication and English conversation skills are very important to keep pace with the world.

“Opening your eyes is all that is needing. The heart lies and the head plays tricks with us, but the eyes see true. Look with your eyes. Hear with your ears. Taste with your mouth. Smell with your nose. Feel with your skin. Then comes the thinking, afterward, and in that way knowing the truth.” –Syrio Forel It is important to have a very realistic perspective of life. Perceived reality is more important than actual reality as people behave according to their perceptions. Once a person has accepted a difficult situation he or she will find a way to overcome it.

“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” –Tyrion Lannister The world is full of people who will try to pull you down but you should have confidence in yourself because unless you don’t have confidence in yourself no one else will. It is important to be educated to keep up with the world as education empowers people to new heights and helps build self-confidence in an individual. Good English speaking skills are also important for confidence building. A good command over the English language is imperative.

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.” –Sansa Stark
