WHS To Present “Shrek The Musical” By Ann Mead Ash
Cast members of the Warwick High School (WHS) production of “Shrek The Musical,” recently participated in a photo shoot for the Merchandiser, but they did not all wear the full components of their costumes. “Here is a sneak preview of what’s to come,” said Diane Fund, costumer for the show. “We don’t want to give away the real look.” Producer Deb Kline-Smith agreed. “These costumes are a tease compared to the lavish costumes they will have (for the show),” said Kline-Smith. “It’s very challenging making
people into storybook characters.” Those who want to see the real costumes should attend the show, which will be produced at the school, 301 W. Orange St., Lititz, on Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, March 15, at 2 p.m. Jill Gagliano will serve as drama director and choreographer for the show, with Ann Ahlers and Sherry Kline as co-directors of the pit orchestra and Sharon Walker as hair and makeup coordinator. the vehicles had the necessary equipment to safely transport newborns. According to Rick Pearson, Lancaster EMS director of education, a team spent 500 hours researching safety equipment for pediatric transport. In 2016, a new protocol was introduced in Pennsylvania that specified that in the event of a field birth - where a child was born outside of a hospital or other medical facility - the mother and baby cannot be transported together. Instead, each person is supposed to have their own ambulance and dedicated team of paramedics or emergency medical technicians. See Lancaster EMS pg 3
