Calvary Homes Holds Dedication Event Calvary Homes dedicated two buildings on Aug. 21 in the fellowship hall on the continuing care retirement community’s campus. The dedication event included prelude music and refreshments. After the completion of a $13 million renovation and expansion, begun in 2018, Calvary Homes chose to honor Clifford K. Hurter and his wife, Carol Brady Hurter, in the naming of the community’s new Hurter Community and Administrative Center. Clifford served Calvary Homes as business manager beginning in 1980 and then president and CEO starting in 1988. Carol aided in administrative roles and as a volunteer. The dedication event also
Bird-In-Hand Stage To Present Christmas Show Bird-in-Hand Stage recently announced the opening of “The Christmas Tree Ship,” a new show from Blue Gate Musicals. The musical tells the story of one woman’s determination to continue her husband’s mission of bringing Christmas trees to their Chicago community. The new musical is inspired by the true story of the famous Christmas tree ship,
