Maytown Historical Society will host a breakfast and bake sale fundraiser on Saturday, March 14, from 7 to 10 a.m. in the social hall at Saint John’s Lutheran Church, North Queen Street, Maytown. The menu will feature sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and beverages. A wide variety of baked goods will also be available for purchase. Children age 3 and under may eat for free. The Mount Joy Area Historical Society, 120 Fairview St., Mount Joy, will host historian Matthew Dodd as guest speaker at its monthly meeting to be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16. Dodd will present a program of stories and songs about St. Patrick and will appear in character. Refreshments will be available after the program. The meeting is open to the public free of charge. The society building is open on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. for the public to do research and see displays of Mount Joy memorabilia. Details are available at www.mountjoyhistory.com. MARRIAGE COURSE

610 E. Main St., Mount Joy, will host the next meeting in the biblical marriage enrichment course “Marriage: Together as One!” on Friday, March 27. Marriage ministry coaches Jeff and Missy Sugden will direct a time of biblical marriage teaching and Christ-centered resources. At 7 p.m., a short meet-andgreet will begin with light refreshments. The session topic, “No, No, You’re Better,” will be discussed from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Child care will not be provided. People of any Christian denomination are welcome. Donegal School District (DSD) students will don whimsical, brightly colored costumes and fill the auditorium with singing and dancing this month as they present “Seussical,” the musical amalgamation of beloved stories of Dr. Seuss. The show will be directed by Audra Brackbill. Performances are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14, at Donegal High School (DHS), 1025 Koser Road, Mount Joy. A matinee performance is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. Interested individuals may purchase tickets at the box office, which will open one hour prior to each performance. The box office will also be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Senior citizens are invited to attend a dress rehearsal of the show at 2 p.m. on March 12 at no charge. Girls on the Run (GOTR) of Lancaster and Lebanon is living up to its name with a busy spring schedule, which is keeping organizers on the run. GOTR will launch its spring season on Monday, March 16; the organization will hold a scholarship fundraising banquet on Friday, April 17; and the first GOTR summer camp program will be held from Monday, June 22, to Friday, June 26. This year’s season will include 100 teams in school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties using two different curriculums.
