The Maytown Historical Society will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 10, at the East Donegal Township Building, 190 Rock Point Road, Maytown, in the large meeting room beginning at 6:30 p.m. The agenda will include regular business and discussion of upcoming activities. Donegal High School Musicians Capture Honors By Chelsea Peifer

The music department at Donegal School District is abuzz with activity almost year-round, and this school year has brought numerous achievements

for the student musicians. In the fall, the Donegal High School (DHS) marching band captured third place at the Tournament of Bands (TOB) Atlantic Coast Championships for the Group One Open category.

Nineteen bands competed in the Group One Open division at the event, which took place on Oct. 27 at Hersheypark Stadium. First place went to Oakcrest High School, Mays Landing, N.J., with a score of 97.45, and second

Meghan Brenneman is now on staff at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Mount Joy as the director of contemporary worship. She invites the community to Door Frames, a new gathering at 7 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month in the third floor of the church Ministry Center.

Hope Within Dental is set to open on Wednesday, March 25, within the offices of Hope Within Ministries, 4748 E. Harrisburg Pike, Elizabethtown. Hope Within Ministries executive director Anne Marie McAlester said that free services at the dental clinic will be offered under the same eligibility guidelines as the free primary health care services that Hope Within Ministries offers to low-income residents of Lancaster, Lebanon, and Dauphin counties who are medically uninsured.
