The second day of March will soon be here, and the library will give you reason to cheer! The day has been planned by Miss Jan and Sam-I-Am; it’s the annual breakfast of green eggs and ham! All Seuss-isms aside, the Milanof-Schock Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, will host its annual Green Eggs and Ham breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, March 2, at 9 a.m. Tickets for the popular event are currently on sale, with separate
prices for adults and for children. Tickets must be purchased in person at the library. Children’s coordinator and organizer Jan Betty, known to most as Miss Jan, noted that the event typically sells out. “We have been getting phone calls about it since Jan. 1,” Miss Jan shared. In addition to the Dr. Seuss-inspired green eggs and ham, attendees may enjoy regular-colored eggs and ham, beverages, and sweet treats. Families are invited to enjoy activities during the event, such as coloring on the table coverings and singSee Green Eggs And Ham pg 9
