Mount Joy Mennonite Church, 320 Musser Road, Mount Joy, will offer women’s Bible studies on Wednesdays beginning on Jan. 9. The morning study will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Class options will include “Adamant” by Lisa Bevere and “Psalm 23” by Jennifer Rothschild. The evening study will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. “It Is Not Supposed to Be This Way” by Lysa TerKeurst will be the class topic. GBC, Manheim BIC To Host Night To Shine

LCBC - Manheim, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, will kick off a new five-week series, Set for Life. Dave Ramsey will join the gatherings during the weekend of Saturday, Jan. 5, through Monday, Jan. 7. LCBC will also offer multiple Financial Peace University (FPU) groups throughout the week beginning in mid-January. FPU is a nine-week course that teaches wise money management. for students ages 5 to 13 will be offered from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia. Topics will include “River Erosion” on Jan. 15, “Nature Journaling” on Feb. 19, “Bees and Pollinators” on March 19, “Harnessing the Wind” on April 16, and “Mayflies, Dragonflies, and Fireflies, Oh My” on May 21. The Frozen Foot 5K and 10K Race Series is back for its 30th year. The three-race series will kick off on Sunday, Jan. 20, at Elizabethtown College,

Miss Jan of the Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy hosts a monthly Sensory Story Time designed for children of all ages who may be on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing issues or developmental disabilities, or feel overwhelmed by noises and crowds. The next session will take place on Jan. 29.
