PROGRAMME
WELCOME FROM NICK PINK, ENGLAND HOCKEY
We are pleased to welcome teams to Southgate Hockey Centre for today’s Mixed Championships finals.
Club hockey is the lifeblood of the sport and the Mixed Championships offer teams from all levels of the game the chance to play competitive hockey in a different environment to league fixtures, against different opposition from across the country. We congratulate those teams who have won through to the finals, no mean feat as with over 200 entries, the Mixed Championships are our most popular knockout competition.
These finals are the culmination of the 2023-24 domestic campaign and we know teams will relish the opportunity for a last showpiece game. We thank Southgate Hockey Club for their efforts in hosting these finals and we know they will do their best to make this a great occasion for the clubs involved.
It is a similar opportunity for today umpires and match officials to whom we extend our thanks too.
Best of luck to all teams.
