Welcome to The Slipway Port Isaac In the heart of the historic Cornish fishing village, overlooking Port Isaac harbour, stands The Slipway. Dating back to 1527. In the past The Slipway has been a smugglers hideaway and a ships chandlery. This Grade II listed B&B is located in picturesque village of Port Isaac. With 7 en-suite rooms on the top floors and a Cafe & Restaurant overlooking harbour downstairs with outside eating area. The Slipway specialises in fresh seafood, homemade burgers and more. All prepared from scratch by experienced chefs and fresh everyday. Seafood is sourced locally, across the road. Lobsters, oysters, scallops and more, cooked in various ways, are on the daily specials board everyday in summer. We are open almost all year round and only closed for a short winter break in Jan -Feb. The village of Port Isaac became a popular filming location, and since the 80’s has served as backdrop to various film and television productions. It is also home to Doc Martin, TV series popular worldwide and Fisherman’s Friends band, local fishermen famous sea-shanty singers.
