November Newsletter We would like to express a heartfelt goodbye to Teacher Janice. Janice was a wonderful asset to this center, a great teacher, co-worker and friend. She will be missed dearly and we wish her luck in her future endeavors. Teacher Jessica will now hold the position of lead teacher on the 3-5 side. On that note we would like to welcome Ms. Isabel and Ms. Janee to the daycare. Both ladies will be full time teachers on the 3-5 side. Please feel free to introduce and familiarize yourself with them. The weather outside is cooling down quickly and winter gear is now mandatory for all children (both sides)! Snow suits, waterproof gloves/mitts, boots and toques are required every day. These items must be labeled!!! If your child does not have appropriate outdoor clothing on an “outside” day, a teacher will be calling to have it brought to daycare. WE DO NOT HAVE EXTRA WINTER GEAR AVAILABLE! *Please note that both sides go outdoors daily depending on weather and safety of the playground. If you have any questions and/or concerns about outdoor playtime, please feel free to ask. It is for safety purposes that every child has a pair of indoor shoes. Please leave inside shoes at school to stay clean and dry. Indoor shoes are to be put on by parent or child every morning before entering the classroom. THIS APPLIES TO ALL CHILDREN (BOTH SIDES)

“There is no such thing as a child who hates to read; there are only children who have not found the right book.” —Frank Serafini The children on the 3-5 side have the option of bringing books home to read from our little library. Every child is allowed to bring one book home at a time and they may exchange their books as many times as they would like. Each child will be given a book bag. This bag is to be used only for the purpose of transporting books back and forth. Books are to be returned within a month, failure to do so may result in a $5 fee.
