I
t ’s a well-known fact that to truly enjoy movies, theater and such, it’s often best to suspend disbelief. This brings us to Love Never Dies, a sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, the longest-running musical in Broadway history. Lloyd Webber started working on a sequel a few years after Phantom opened in London in 1986 but didn’t begin writing the score until 2007. There’s even a stor y about how his initial score was strangely deleted, not by a phantom, but by Lloyd Webber’s kitten, which climbed onto the composer’s digital piano. Love Never Dies takes place more than a decade after the Phantom ends, on Coney Island in 1907. The Phantom is still hiding in the shadows. Wait a sec. Did you think that poor fellow with the hideous face died of a broken heart? Ah, think again. We never saw his body at the end of Phantom, only his mask. The ending was ambiguous. In this sequel, which creators consider a stand-alone show, the tortured man has made his way to New York with the help of Madame Giry, ballet mistress at the Paris Opera House, and her daughter, Meg. Now the masked man owns Phantasma, a Coney Island amusement park with burlesque and freak shows. Madame Giry and Meg work for him. That’s all you need to know, except that love never dies. Now called Mr. Y, the Phantom still yearns for soprano Christine Daaé. Will Christine show up on Coney Island? What about her Raoul? Has it been happily ever after? Love Never Dies opened in London in 2010 to less-thanlovely reviews. It was then overhauled by a new director, Simon Phillips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical). His prime goal: to make the show achieve “a much stronger connection to the original Phantom and those characters,” says associate director Gavin Mitford. Phillips’ version launched in 2011 in Australia, where it was filmed for a 2012 DVD. It has been staged in Denmark, Germany and Japan but has never gone to Broadway. The Fox Theatre gets the lavish production on its first North American tour. Karen Mason, a well-regarded cabaret singer and Broadway performer, is its Madame Giry, a more prominent role this time. For starters, she gets to close the first act with the angst-filled number “Ten Long Years.” With that song, Mason does what she’s known for: Belt it out. At theaters nationwide, she’s handled Mama Rose in Gypsy. On Broadway, she originated the role of “man-eating dynamo” Tanya in Mamma Mia! On Broadway and in Los Angeles, she played faded screen star Norma Desmond in the original Sunset Boulevard, going on about 250 times as the standby for Glenn Close, Betty Buckley and Elaine Paige. She’s also been in the Broadway companies of Jerome Robbins’ Broadway and Hairspray. “One day I’m watching Star Trek reruns, and the next day I’m starring in a Broadway show,” she recalls of her long stint as the Norma standby. Mason has steadily swung from solo cabaret (including a “legendary” Christmas show) and musical theater, from concert performances to recordings. “It’s About Time,” a collection of show tunes and standards, is her latest and seventh CD. (Some may recall that in the early 1990s she headlined at Libby’s A Cabaret in Buckhead). Mason never played Phantom’s Madame Giry. She heard about Love Never Dies “and that there was a good role for a riper” (someone mature). At 66, she was glad to learn that this go-round Madame Giry sings in a lower register than in Phantom. “Vocally, this Madame Giry fits beautifully in my voice,” she says. “Let’s just say that she doesn’t have many quiet moments.” Mason connects with the role another way. Madame Giry senses “that she’s potentially going to lose what she has built. I understand that in a very personal way — what it’s like when some big thing happens and you can’t be sure how things will go for you.

“It’s that fear of — now what? The fear that it could all be taken away from you. Madame Giry has a lot to lose and if Christine Daaé becomes a distraction, who knows what’s going to happen?” The Love Never Dies company is filled with mostly young talents, so Mason helps balance things “as a beacon in the industry,” Mitford says. “She’s extremely generous, talented, wonderfully experienced. From a personality and character perspective, we get the depth of someone who has been a fighter, and the finesse of someone at the top of her game. Her spectrum and range is very hard to find. She really is a gem.” “I’ve never laughed so hard, I’ve never worked so hard,” Mason says of the time spent rehearsing for the tour. “It’s very exciting when you can create something without thinking about how someone else did it. I get to put my own imprint on Madame Giry. That’s very exciting and freeing. It’s a big responsibility but also a great joy to start at zero and work your way up.”

ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER (Producer, Composer, Book and Orchestrations) When Sunset Boulevard joined School of Rock, Cats and The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in February 2017, Lloyd Webber became the only person to equal the record set in 1953 by Rodgers and Hammerstein with four Broadway shows running concurrently. He also has composed Aspects of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Love Never Dies. His School of Rock is the first British musical to have its world premiere on Broadway. He has co-produced his own shows, including Cats and The Phantom of the Opera. As a solo producer he presented Bombay Dreams, which introduced the double Oscar-winning Bollywood composer AR Rahman to the Western stage. He owns seven West End theaters, including the Royal Drury Lane, the Palladium and, most recently, the St James, which reopened this year as the Other Palace to provide a London home for musicals in development. He is passionate about the importance of music in education and the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation has become one of Britain’s leading charities supporting the arts. In 2016, it funded a major new national initiative that endowed the American Theatre Wing with a $1.3 million, three-year grant to support theater education for underserved young people and public schools across the United States. His awards, as composer and producer, include seven Tonys, seven Oliviers, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, the Praemium Imperiale, the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in

BEN ELTON (Book) is the author of such No. 1 novels as Stark, Gridlock, Popcorn and Dead Famous, and such award-winning TV comedies as The Young Ones, The Thin Blue Line and Blackadder). Elton is one of the UK’s most successful stand-up comics and has achieved success in TV and film as an actor, writer and director. He wrote and directed the film Maybe Baby, starring Hugh Laurie and Joely Richardson; and wrote the book and directed We Will Rock You, the musical based on Queen songs, which has played to millions worldwide. With Andrew Lloyd Webber, he wrote the book and lyrics for The Beautiful Game (named best musical by the London Critics’ Circle). It has been reworked as The Boys in the Photograph, a production Elton has directed in Canada. GLENN SLATER (Book) is a three-time Tony nominee for the musicals The Little Mermaid, Sister Act and School of Rock, and a co-creator of Disney’s Tangled (Grammy winner, Oscar and Golden Globe noms). With frequent collaborator Alan Menken, he wrote the songs for Broadway’s A Bronx Tale and the animated comedy Sausage Party. The two also wrote Disney’s Home on the Range,and Broadway’s Leap of Faith. For TV, the team wrote the ABC series Galavant (Emmy nominee) and the Disney Channel’s “Tangled: The Series.” Most recently, Glenn wrote the book for Beatsville (with composer/lyricist/wife Wendy Wilf), which debuted at Sarasota’s Asolo Rep. FREDERICK FORSYTH (Book) was the youngest pilot in the Royal Air Force at age of 19, then went on to a career in journalism, which saw him working for The Eastern Daily Press. In the 1960s, he worked for Reuters and the BBC in Paris, East and West Germany and Czechoslovakia. As a freelancer, he reported
from the Nigeria-Biafran conflict. He is best known as the author of such thrillers as The Day of the Jackal, The Odessa File, The Dogs of War and The Fourth Protocol, all of which were subsequently filmed. CHARLES HART (Additional Lyrics) was born in London and educated in Maidenhead and Cambridge. He has written lyrics for musicals (The Phantom of the Opera and Aspects of Love), opera (The Vampyr, BBC 2) and miscellaneous songs, as well as words and music for television (“Watching,” “Split Ends,” Granda TV) and radio (“Love Songs,” BBC Radio 2). Other work includes radio presenting, vocal coaching, accompanying, musical direction, and musical arrangement and translation. From 1990 to 1993, he was a council member for the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. He has received two Ivor Novello awards and has been twice-nominated for a Tony Award. SIMON PHILLIPS (Director) began his career in New Zealand before emigrating to Australia in 1984. He was appointed artistic director of the State Theatre Company of South Australia (1990-94) and artistic director of Melbourne Theatre Company (2000-11). His directing credits range from contemporary and Shakespearean classics to musicals and opera. He has directed the premieres of many works by Australian writers. Apart from Love Never Dies, his musical credits include Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Oliver!, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cabaret, High Society, Company, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Urinetown, The Drowsy Chaperone and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He has received eight Australian Green Room awards and five Helpmann awards, most recently best new Australian work for Ladies in Black, a musical he created with Tim Finn and his wife, Carolyn Burns. GABRIELA TYLESOVA (Scenic and Costume Designer) is an award-winning designer. She was born in former Czechoslovakia and studied art in Europe and Australia, graduating in design at NIDA in 2000. He has danced with the Australian Ballet, Sadler’s Wells Ballet (London) and Ballets Félix Blaska (France). During 31 years as artistic director of Sydney Dance Company, he created more than 50 works, including 30 full-length productions. He was named Cultural Leader of the Year (2004) by the Australian Business Arts Foundation; listed among Australia’s 50 Most Glamorous Exports at a special celebration hosted by the Australian Government and Austrade (2005); and received an award for contribution to cultural exchange from China’s Ministry of Culture (2008). Select directing and choreographic credits include Metamorphosis, Turandot, Salome, The Trojans, Aida (Opera Australia), Swan Lake, Firebird and The Torvill and Dean World Tour. He choreographed Death in Venice (Canadian Opera Company); Samson et Dalila (The Met, New York) and the movie Mao’s Last Dancer. NICK SCHLIEPER (Lighting Designer) designs for major Australian theater and opera companies, and works regularly in Europe and the United States. He’s one of Australia’s most-awarded designers, receving six Melbourne Green Room awards, five Sydney Critics awards and five national Helpmann awards. International work includes productions in London (West End, The Barbican and the Royal Shakespeare Company), Tokyo, Toronto, the Kennedy Center, Broadway, Lincoln Center and BAM. GAVIN MITFORD (Associate Director) is a London based theater director, who has a long-standing association with the Really Useful Group as an original member of the creative team on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s productions of The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz and Love Never Dies. The Australian native developed his directing skills as associate director to Jeremy Sams (U.K.), Simon Phillips (Australia) and U.K. film director John Stephenson. BIOS PLOT SYNOPSIS Act 1 During the annual uptown holiday street party, Maria-Clara is upset by her parents’ constant bickering. The mysterious Drosselmeyer appears, bringing magical toys to the party. He introduces Maria-Clara to a street vendor selling roasted nuts, who catches her eye because he is different from the other boys on the block. After the party breaks up, Maria-Clara heads home, but on her way, she runs into the menacing Mouse Crew. The Nutcracker, aided by a magic pair of sneakers, defeats the Mouse King and the couple enjoys the romance of winter’s first snowfall. Act 2 Drosselmeyer meets Maria-Clara and the Nutcracker and takes them back in time to the Land of Sweets nightclub on New Year’s Eve, 1984. Invisible, the couple watches the partygoers show off the dance styles of the day. Suddenly Maria-Clara realizes she is witnessing the night her parents met and is overcome by how they were once deeply in love. Back in the present, and with a little more magic, Maria-Clara and the Nutcracker help Mom and Dad reconcile. The community joins them in the celebration.

BIOS ANN-SYLVIA CLARK (Maria-Clara) was born and raised in Norway. Training: Flow Dance Academy (Copenhagen, Denmark), Broadway Dance Center (NYC). In Denmark, she performed with Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams at the 2006 MTV European Music Awards. As a member of Decadance theater, she has toured the U.S., U.K. and performed on “Good Day New York” Fox5 and CBS, and was a contestant on TruTV’s “Fake Off.” She has performed at the Jacobs Pillow Festival and worked on music videos for such artists as Alicia Keys, Styles P, F.Stokes, LEON, Ben L’Oncle Soul and Fedez. She has also done commercial work for Samsung, Smirnoff, Sixt Car and Digicel. JOSUE “BEASTMODE” FIGUEROA (The Nutcracker) was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Florida. Josue discovered his passion for breaking and the performing arts at age 15. Through his continual pursuit and love for the arts, he’s earned work in the Step Up film franchise, numerous commercials and several international breaking championship titles with his crews MIND180 and Skill Methodz. Josue is studying to create his next path as an actor. ... Stay tuned. ALLAUNÉ BLEGBO (Mom) is a French dancer, raised between Paris and Abidjanm Ivory Coast. She is part of the French hip-hop/house crews Wanted Posse and Paradoxsal. She studied in New York at the Alvin Ailey School. After a year on tour with Madonna, Allauné decided to move to the United States. As a freestyler she loves to merge her hip-hop and technical background with acrobatics to create a unique and abstract style.
MICAH “JUST JAMZ” ABBREY (Dad) is an artist who concentrates on urban improvisational movement. He specializes in movement innovation and total body integration methodologies with an emphasis in musical aural skills and meditative approaches to movement in order to heighten creativity and self-awareness. He is a core company member of Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre, a site-specific modern dance company. He’s also a dance instructor at the infamous Movement Lifestyle dance studio and spends most of his time traveling the United States. teaching and competing, using his style “the way of a million bounces.” SHEstreet (Drosselmeyer) is an inspirational movements artist-choreographer who has the ability to move the masses. In her eyes, being raised in a city flourishing with talented singers and musicians was a great advantage. Her love for movement and acting began early and, over the years, a sense of embedment was placed in her world! After deciding to dedicate more time to her craft, SHE spent years enhancing her craft and performing throughout the United States with various companies. The Memphis, Tenn., native relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her vision full time RANDI “RASCAL” FREITAS (Associate Director-Choreo-grapher/ Dance Captain/Mouse King/Ensemble) ) is a member of the Beat Freaks Crew and a Los Angelesbasedprofessional hip-hop dancer. Her credits include Nike, Anthropologie, Toyota, the Emmy awards, Kaytranada and Mya. Randi has toured Japan performing in a live-battle theater show. This is her second U.S. tour dancing in and choreographing The Hip-Hop Nutcracker. Randi also performs with an outreach program called Universoul Hip Hop, bringing hip-hop to ATLANTA’S PERFORMING ARTS PUBLICATION I-5
BIOS schools for assemblies and after-school curriculum. She is the co-founder of a battle called the Dance Fight and is active in the underground battle world. Randi teaches at Movement Lifestyle, a professional dance studio in Los Angeles. JOEL MAISONET (Toy/ Ensemble) is from Oceanside, Calif., and has lived and trained throughout Southern California. He comes from freestyling in breaking, krump and hip-hop, and found a love for musical theater, tap and hip-hop choreography while training in his teens at Temecula Dance Company. LILIANA FRIAS (Toy/ Ensemble) was born and raised in Mexico and works as a professional dancer in Los Angeles. She has been dancing for 13 years. Her journey started as a technical dancer, then moved to a mastery of hip-hop styles and the art of freestyle. She has been featured on such projects as “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 12), “Americas Best Dance Crew” (Season 7), Cirque Du Soleil and Comedy Central. She is an accomplished choreographer, who teaches and performs in the United States, Europe and Latin America. RAMONE “MONE SWIFF” WILKINSON (Russian/Ensemble) is a professional dancer from Philly. After years as a self-taught street dancer, he began to study such styles as hip-hop and funk. His hard work and talent led him to working professionally in New York and Los Angeles, and with such A-list artists and worldwide brands as Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Big Sean, Nike and Apple. ALEX LAYA (Russian/ Ensemble) grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and began his dance training in breaking at age 17. Education: Western Michigan University. Alex performed with DJ/ producer DIPLO while being featured in the music video “Set Me Free,” and performed with Soul Fresh Fam, directed by Ricky Cole of Mos Wanted Cru, at many venues, including the World of Dance. Alex’s credits include Gala de Danza, Youth American Grand Prix, Establish Your Empire, Dance Stellar Productions, Chicago Dance Crash and Culture Shock Chicago. AYANO ITO (Tea/ Ensemble) was born and raised in Kanagawa, Japan. She started to compete and perform with her crew at age 16, winning first prize at a competition in Kanagawa. Her first job as a professional dancer was a Japanese movie titled Pyu-To fuku Jaguar. Training: Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex. Since she moved to Los Angeles, she has had worked with Nike, Lenovo, the Hard Rock Cafe, Money Super Market and more. She continuously works hard to inspire people. EVAN MOODY (Flute/ Ensemble) is just a kid from Raleigh, N.C.! His stage debut came as a fifth-grader in My First Bug Jar Musical at North Carolina State University. He now has credits that include working with Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Mountain Dew, Keke Palmer, Todrich Hall and in Alvin and the Chipmunks 4. So thankful for all the opportunities. He thanks his parents for helping him find a passion at such a young age and helping him focus and grow with it.
BIOS EMILY SIMONE (Violinist) is a classically trained pop violinist and electronic music producer based in Brooklyn. A fixture in the NYC club scene, Emily has toured Germany with the Franco Dragone (of Cirque du Soleil) show Incredible India, and is regularly featured with the cirque-nouveau group Quixotic. She has done concerts in Pakistan to promote cultural exchange, enjoys remixing contemporary music to feature the violin (#thevmix) and released her first EP last year (KYLIAN — We Are Ready). DJ BOO (DJ) ) is a New York- based Fil-Am DJ/ musician who has shared the stage with the likes of Ghostface Killah, DJ Kool Herc, KRS-1, Snoop Dog, and Common. He has backed wordsmiths like Eternia, the Juggaknots, and Omar Offendum. In 2014, he served as a cultural ambassador for the United States performing and conducting hip-hop workshops with the Nomadic Wax Collective in Nepal, Mozambique and Swaziland as part of the American Music Abroad Tour. He has performed at Jacob’s Pillow backing the Brooklyn-based hip-hop company Decadancetheatre. As a music producer he, with choreographer Jennifer Weber, helped bring to life Mike Fitelson’s holiday show The Hip-Hop Nutcracker, a modern reimagining of the classic ballet by Tchaikovsky. It has toured the United States and Russia. JENNIFER WEBER (Director & Choreographer) is a Bessie-nominated choreographer and the founder of the theatrical hip-hop company Decadancetheatre. Her work has been performed at Jacob’s Pillow, the Apollo, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, London’s Southbank Center, New York City Center and the Stanislavsky Music Theatre in Moscow. Choreography credits include KPOP (Ars Nova); Cruel Intentions the Musical (LPR); Bryony Lavery’s Stockholm (U.S. premiere/Stageworks, Hudson); PBS’ Odd Squad Live! MIKE FITELSON (Writer/Co-Creator) is the executive director of the United Palace of Cultural Arts (UPCA), which originally produced The Hip-Hop Nutcracker in 2014, and co-created the show with Jennifer Weber, adapting the story and supplying the images for the scenery. Fitelson has worked to build the arts community in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan for more than a decade. He co-founded the community’s annual arts festival, the Uptown Arts Stroll in 2003; and worked in every capacity with the Manhattan Times, the bilingual community newspaper in Washington Heights and Inwood (2002/11). BURKE WILMORE (Lighting Designer) is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and an honors graduate of Wesleyan University. He has designed or adapted seven works for BODYTRAFFIC and has lit the work of Camille A. Brown (Black Girl: Linguistic Play, Mr. Tol E. Rance, City of Rain). He was the resident designer for Battleworks (2001/10) and, to date, has lit five of Robert Battle’s works for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. For the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, he lit A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Red Velvet. He frequently collaborates with Broadway’s André de Shields, for whom he lit the Louis Armstrong musical Ambassador Satch and designed scenery and lighting for Ain’t Misbehavin’. Wilmore designed scenery and lighting for Apollo Club Harlem and Ellington at Christmas, both at the Apollo Theater. MOE SHAHROOZ (Video Designer) is New York City-based video artist specializing in animation, editing and interactive video design. He has worked on projects ranging from TV shows, award shows, fashion shows and music videos, to numerous theatrical productions. His work has been showcased in more than 100 theaters worldwide. He has a master’s degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and also is known for performing and producing music under the moniker I. Sheik. He is proud to be working with The Hip-Hop Nutcracker. CHICKENS CLUCKING, sushi spinning and biscuits rising plus new food halls, fresh cookie dough and a castle reboot. It’s all part of our most recent take on greater Atlanta’s food scene. Well done The Atlanta Braves hung it up weeks ago, but there’s no end to the activity in and around SunTrust Park’s The Battery. The latest entry is chef Mark Taft’s FEED Fried Chicken and Such, a rural South-themed quick-serve restaurant. You’ll find fried chicken in buckets, fried chicken tenders, grilled chicken breast sandwiches, spicy chicken, mild chicken, chicken livers, chicken nachos and more. The “and such” column includes fried pickles, mac-n-cheese, crinkle fries, braised greens and a velvety banana pudding. The biggest Japanese export since Godzilla has landed near Spaghetti Junction: Kula Revolving Sushi Bar (6035 Peachtree Blvd., Doraville). Japan has more than 400 of these large dining rooms with conveyer belts that bring plate after plate of sushi within reach of your table. You simply seize whatever looks good. Nigiri, sashimi and specialty rolls — only $2.25 per plate — glide past. If you crave hot dishes, udon or ramen soups, tempura or desserts, you press a few buttons on your table’s order pad and, in moments, a bowl comes flying down the belt and stops in front of you. Even with mass-production sushi, the quality holds its own alongside the mesmerizing gimmickry. Biscuits are the South’s great gift to world cuisine and homespun joy, right? Holler and Dash in West Midtown, a fastcasual Cracker Barrel spinoff, has jumped into the breakfastbrunch-biscuit game. Its menu riffs on several classics — biscuits with fried chicken, cheddar and pickles; biscuits with fried goat cheese, kale and tomato jam; biscuits with sausage, cheddar and sausage gravy; biscuits with fried pork tenderloin; and such sweet biscuit renditions as strawberry shortcake and one made with Nutella and raspberry jam. The Westside H&D is the first in Georgia, but don’t be surprised to see more popping up all around the South like, well, biscuits in a baking pan.

Simmering Having witnessed Atlanta’s obsession with hipster food halls like Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market, Midtown’s Colony Square is betting that its version, Main & Main, will grow the concept. Developers are Jettisoning the self-described “antiquated food court,” and promising something truly “Instagramworthy.” Look for a groundbreaking sometime this year with the first phase of the development opening in 2018. Ponce City Market, meanwhile, will tantalize your sweet tooth sometime this fall with the Batter Cookie Dough Counter, an edible cookie-dough dessert shop with such traditional and seasonal flavors as sugar, chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal, lemon, salted caramel and s’mores. Batter also will serve freshly baked cookies and such beverages as coldbrew coffee, milk and chocolate milk. The Castle, a largely unknown but nonetheless important historic preservation next to Midtown’s Woodruff Arts Center, will open Rose + Rye sometime this fall. It comes from creative maestro Thaddeus Keefe, owner of 1Kept Kitchen + Bar in Buckhead. Rose + Rye, promising “refined American fare with a global reach,” will span three levels and have several patios and rooms for private events.

Get to know the Fox Theatre Institute The DeSoto Theatre in Rome (above) and the Ritz in Brunswick (below) are among Georgia theaters that have received restoration support.
The Fox Theatre Institute, founded in 2008, is a dynamic outreach program that offers historic preservation and operations expertise, consultation and education to performing arts venues throughout Georgia and the region.
The FTI, as it’s called, was created by the Fox Theatre’s brain trust to “pay it forward.” As most metro Atlantans know, community members saved the iconic venue from destruction in the mid-1970s. Through its institute, the Fox helps other cultural institutions find renewal and restore artistic vitality in their communities. With environmental and economic impacts in mind, FTI offers the financial assistance, restoration support and operational mentoring needed to leverage scarce resources and stimulate local economies.
• To date, the Fox Theatre has committed more than $1 million to other theaters through the FTI. • The Fox announced a bold expansion of FTI’s grants program and its historic preservation services this year. Over the next 12 months, the FTI will consider grant requests in four new categories — structures with urgent or emergency needs that threaten architectural integrity, stability or present a potential community opportunity; study, research and planning for historic structures; technical services related to preservation, operations, sustainability, community development and advocacy; and full or phased-in restoration projects that leverage matching gifts and grants. 60 ENCOREATLANTA.COM

It also manages Georgia Presenters, a statewide talent-booking consortium that helps presenters, theaters and communities work together to increase cultural opportunities at an affordable cost. More recently, FTI has overseen Fox in a Box, a free interpretive curriculum-based, in-house field trip experience for schools with students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
