profiles Christy Baggett (Ida/Pink Foot/Froglet) Christy is excited to be back on the Alliance stage after appearing in A Christmas Carol this past holiday season. Favorite credits include Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray (Atlanta Lyric, Suzi Bass Nomination), Jen in John and Jen (Serenbe Playhouse), Betty Blake in The Will Rogers Follies (Atlanta Lyric), Linoleum in The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Actor's Express), as well as the Suzi Bass nominated productions of Godspell (Theatrical Outfit) and A Catered Affair (Aurora Theatre). Christy also works as a teaching artist and serves on the board for Stage Door Players in Dunwoody. Catch her this June in the Atlanta premiere of Ordinary Days at Serenbe Playhouse. Cynthia D. Barker (Grace/Dot/Froglet/ Mother Swan) is thrilled to “play” with the cast of Honk!. Atlanta theatre credits include Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery (Horizon Theatre), Women+War (Synchronicity), for colored girls (True Colors), Blues for an Alabama Sky (True Colors Theatre), Hamlet (Springer Opera House) and Black Nativity (True Colors). Television: "Tyler Perry’s House of Payne." Cynthia would like to thank God for continually showing her what she’s made of. Leslie W. Bellair (Maureen/Penny/Snowy/ Froglet) Leslie was last seen at the Alliance as Mulan in Disney's Mulan. Other favorite Atlanta credits: Marcy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Georgia Ensemble Theatre), Kathy Selden in Singin' in the Rain (Aurora Theatre), Jackie in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (OnStage Atlanta). Voice acting work: iPhone app "Diss Crazy!"; online game "Back to the Cubeture 2"; various audiobooks; animated Christmas film premiering on DVD this winter. Leslie is also a speech therapist. Thank you to her husband, family and Rosemary! J.C. Long (Turkey/Ducklings/Barnacles/Main Bullfrog/Father Swan/ASM) is delighted to return to the Alliance with such an amazing cast and crew. Last seen on the TYF stage as the evil Shan-Yu in Disney’s Mulan, other credits include the title roles in Hamlet! The Musical!, and Coriolanus, as well as Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare Tavern), and Frank Walker in the world premiere of David H. Bell's Gut Bucket Blues (True Colors). Russell IV (Cat), an Atlanta native and Tennessee State University alumnus, returns to the Alliance after appearing in Jesus Christ Superstar GOSPEL and Cuttin’ Up. Regional theatre credits include The Full Monty at Springer Opera House; Our Town with True Colors Theatre Company; Julius Caesar with Georgia Shakespeare; and Before It Hits Home with St. Louis Black Rep. When not at home with his beautiful wife, Eugene can be found in studios across the city (EugeneIV.com). “Gifted plus Undisciplined equals Irrelevant.” Justin Tanner (Ugly/Dance Captain) This is Justin’s fifth time returning to the Alliance Theatre stage. Other performances include Aladdin in Disney’s Aladdin, Horton in Seussical: The Musical and Eddy in Andre Benjamin’s Class of 3000 LIVE. Justin would like to thank his Mom, Dad, John, Jameson, Allison, Cassidy, Daniel, Rosemary Newcott, Tony Rodriguez, Anne-Carol Pence, Jody Feldman, Hope Quest Ministries and Lord Jesus for their constant love and support. Camilla Zaepfel (US Ida/Pink Foot/Froglet/ Maureen/Penny/Snowy/Froglet/Grace/Dot/ Froglet/Mother Swan) is delighted to be a part of Honk! She was last seen on this stage as Katherine Allen in Douglas Tappin’s I Dream under the direction of Jasmine Guy.
