I am delighted to present our 2024 annual report, showcasing the dedication and collaboration Enactus Puerto Rico fosters within universities and communities across the Island. This year’s theme, DREAM, ACT, AND ACHIEVE, reflects the spirit of action and resilience that guides us, embodied in the students’ journeys to creating meaningful change in their communities.
This first year as President of the Board has been enriching. We have achieved our strategic goals thanks to the unwavering support of our Board, staff, mentors, business partners, professors, and volunteers. Our focus remains on educating and inspiring young leaders to use business and innovation to develop social enterprises while building solid relationships with our partners and Alumni.
In 2024, we reached nearly 2,000 students across over 40 campuses, a testament to your commitment to social change through entrepreneurship.
I am especially proud of our teams’ participation in the Enactus World Competition, where they represented Puerto Rico on the global stage. My heartfelt thanks go to the new companies that joined us as partners, whose financial support and expertise are invaluable in driving our mission forward.
Through alliances with businesses, government, academia, and community leaders, we continue to strengthen our model for social enterprise development, providing meaningful opportunities for young entrepreneurs across Puerto Rico.
As we look to the future, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and developing young leaders on the Island. Together, we will continue to dream, act, and achieve.
Thank you for your enduring support and dedication to our mission. Your contributions inspire us all to excel.
With gratitude,
Alberto’s Estrella, Esq. President of Enactus Puerto Rico
In 2024, we set out with a bold vision under the motto: “Dream. Act. Achieve a Better Puerto Rico for All.” This mission was not just a call to action but a commitment to creating meaningful, sustainable impact across Puerto Rico. Our collective dedication and our team’s relentless drive have made substantial strides in building a better future for our communities.
This year, we organized over 60 training events across the island, reaching and empowering more than 2,300 young people and university students—future leaders who are now equipped to turn their dreams into action. With over 85,000 volunteer hours invested, we have supported the development of 56 social enterprises, each uniquely dedicated to addressing our society’s most pressing challenges. Our network has grown to include 49 academic institutions, a powerful testament to the rising social entrepreneurship movement in Puerto Rico.
Significantly, three social enterprises we nurtured have achieved full independence, contributing directly to our local economy by creating jobs and driving sustainable growth. Their success stands as a testament to the effectiveness of our Social Entrepreneurship Methodology, underscoring the potential for longterm, systemic change.
As we approach 2025, a milestone marking 20 Years of Inspiring Change, we extend our deepest gratitude to each member of our Enactus network. The network’s unwavering commitment and support have been the foundation of our success. Let us
