The Lasallian Prayer
Let us all remember that we are in the most holy presence of God. In the Name of the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Let us pray the Lasallian Prayer, I will continue, O my God, to do all my actions for the love of you.
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts, Forever.

What is a Lasallian?
A Lasallian is a student that goes to a Lasallian School or a school supervised by a La Salle Institution. A Lasallian Student proudly represents their green and white inside and outside the school.

There are three Lasallian Core Values:

Spirit of Faith
Spirit of Faith is a value where we place trust in one other like we place our trust in God. It is also all about believing in God's work and spreading it to the less fortunate.

How to Apply in Real Life
We can apply Spirit of Faith into real life by praying, attend sunday mass, and most importantly, spread the Word of God to others
Zeal for Service
Zeal for service is a value which puts God's word into action and helping others who are in need. By helping others, do we not only help the community, but also make them part of the Lasallian Family.

How to Apply in Real Life
We can apply Zeal for Service into our lives by helping the weak and lifting those who have fallen. This deed will return to us in the near future.
Communion in Mission
Communion in Mission is a value which also Lasallians to follow God's mission to help others. Lasallians can join different organizations and ministries to help outside the school

We can apply Communion in Mission into our daily lives by helping one another in order to rise the community from any trouble
How do these three values make a Lasallian?
These three values, Spirit of Faith, Zeal for Service, Communion in Mission, make up a Lasallian because it is a job of a lasallian to put trust in God and help others in order to make the world a better place in the future. And these values make up what is called the Lasallian Identity.

The three Lasallian core values are the fundamentals which make up the Lasallian Identity. If one of them is missing, then a student can not really be called a Lasallian since they do not have the three values present.

Why is it Important?
The Lasallian Identity is important because it helps students become proper people in the future. This also prepares the students to help their community

How to Use it
The Lasallian Identity is carried and used even outside the school. We can use this in order to proudly carry our school's name and say we are proud Lasallians.

Since we are Lasallians, we should do our best to help others, especially the poor. Just like St. La Salle, we should not give up on our mission and continue on striving in order to fulfill our duty.

The Spirit of Faith
The spirit of faith flows from a relationship of communion with the Triune God who wills to save all people by drawing them into a lifegiving communion with him and with one another in the Lasallian tradition, the spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to:
discover God’s active presence in his Word, in men and women, in the poor, in nature, in history, and in ourselves; judge and evaluate things in the light of the gospel, search for God’s will in order to carry out his saving plan, unite one ’ s actions to the ongoing saving action of God in the world and trust in God’s loving presence and providence when acting or discerning God’s will.

Zeal for the Integral Salvation of All Zeal is the active expression of faith in gospel witness and service. It is oriented towards the integral salvation of persons, particularly the poor and the excluded. Zeal is the enthusiastic and total gift of self for the sake of the mission expressed in such qualities as gratuity and generosity, creativity and fortitude, compassion and commitment. It involves a preferential concern for the poor and the vulnerable. The desire to be of greater service to others conditions the quest for excellence and continuous self-improvement.

Communion in Mission, Mission as Communion Communion recalls the dynamic of association by which the first Brothers bonded together for the sake of the particular mission entrusted to them by God. Communion has four dimensions. As a relationship with God, it is the source of all mission and ministry; as a way of accomplishing mission, it suggests the solidarity and collaboration that comes from sharing in one vision, one spirit and one mission; as a way of relating to others, it suggests openness to all persons and the desire to be brother or sister to all especially those in need; as a goal of mission, it suggests the unity that comes through reconciliation between God, human beings and creation.

St. John-Baptiste de La Salle was a French priest, educational reformer, and founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He is a saint of the Catholic Church and the patron saint for teachers of youth. He is referred to both as La Salle and as De La Salle.
