Now, you need to expand the Computer Configuration category which is located on the left side of the window. 4. Next, you should click on Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Hello for Business (or Microsoft Passport) Located on the left of the window. 5. Then, you have to double-click on Windows Hello for Business which is located on the right side of Group Policy Editor in order to open the window. In some cases, you have to double-tap on Microsoft Passport policy. 6. At this point, you should tap on the Disabled radio button. 7. Here, you should hit on Apply button and OK button in order to exit the policy window. 8. At last, you should close the Group Policy Editor. 2. Edit Microsoft Registry Key: 1. In case, you don’t have Group Policy Editor, you should edit the registry. Now, you should open the Run accessory. 2. After this, you should type regedit and then tap on OK button to open the Registry Editor window. 3. Here, you should open the registry key path: Computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Policies/Microsoft.


4. At this point, you should right-tap on an empty space which is on the right side of the window and then choose the New and then click on DWORD (32-bit) value options. 5. Next, you should enter PassportForWork for the DWORD title. 6. Then, you should double-tap on the PassportForWork DWORD to open the window. 7. Now, you should input 0 in the Value data box and tap on the OK option. 8. At the end, after closing the Registry Editor you should Restart Windows. 3. Alternative Registry Fix: 1. First, you should open the registry path:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control WMI/Autologger/EventLog-Application/{23b8d46b-67dd-40a3b636-d43e50552c6d}. 2. After this, you should double-tap on the Enabled keyword in order to open its Edit window. 3. Then, you should Erase 1 from the Value data box. 4. Here, you need to Input 0 as the replacement value and then choose the OK option. 5. Now, you should close the Registry Editor. 6. At the end, after editing the Registry you should Restart Windows.
