Honor a hero with a free American flag. If someone keeps an American flag outside their home and it has been damaged due to time and weather, we will provide them with a new one.

During this month, we will highlight, through a series of short videos, some of our staff and the type of services that we provide.

APRIL Video Obituary®

We will produce a short video to pay tribute to the life of a loved one. This video may be shared with friends and family via social media.

Mother’s Day: families in the community will receive a free photo restoration service to repair the image of a damaged picture.

The community will have the opportunity to receive a free American flag to celebrate the 4th of July. The announcement will be made via social media.

AUGUST GET LEGAL MONTH

We will help the community recognize the significance of creating a will, establishing trusts, and planning their estates.

PRE-PLANNING MONTH

September

We’ll help families recognize the importance of pre-planning their funerals. Families can ensure that their end-of-life wishes are respected.

OCTOBER Travel Protection Month

Our travel protection plan is an essential service that provides families with peace of mind during times of grief. We will promote this service through social media as well as in person.

NOVEMBER Veterans Day / Thanksgiving Day

The community will have the opportunity to receive a free American flag to honor our heroes, and a special video will be produced to celebrate Thanksgiving Day.

DECEMBER Holiday Social Media Video Series Special

During this special month, we will be sending out special messages to our community through social media.

Celebration of Life:

Everyone Has A Story; What’s Yours?

Everyone Has A Story; What's Yours? is a digital planning guide that has been created for you to record important aspects of your life. Use this guide to help your loved ones create a meaningful and personal Celebration of Life ceremony, or simply convey memories, record historical family events, express sentiments to your loved ones, and complete your family tree.

Keep this digital planning guide, and update it as the years progress. It is your living testimony to your life and to the life of your loved ones. Family history can be lost in, or simply who you are can be lost in about 60 years. Would you have loved to know more about your ancestors? Most of us would have loved to learn about their journey.

This planning guide will enable families to pass on their generational story!

Week 1:

Introduction to Everyone Has A Story; What's Yours?

During this week, we will share the benefits of recording and preserving one's life story and family history. Then, encourage individuals to download the digital planning guide and begin using it.

Week 2:

We will provide guidance on how to use the planning guide and share tips on how to organize thoughts and memories for easy recording.

Week 3:

We will encourage families to record important memories and events in their lives. We will also provide prompts and suggestions for capturing personal stories and sentiments.

Week 4:

In addition, we will share inspiring stories of individuals who have used the planning guide to preserve their family history. Provide ongoing support and encouragement for individuals to continue using the planning guide.

The Companionship Project: American Flag Giveaway Month ®

We strongly believe that honoring the heroes who have served our country is of utmost importance. That's why we're proud to offer this month a special program that provides free American flags to those who have displayed them outside their homes as a symbol of patriotism and respect.

If you know of someone who has an American flag that has become worn or damaged due to time and weather, let us know, and we’ll send them a new one, absolutely free to any destination in the United States.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:

Week 1:

We will share the importance of displaying the American flag as a symbol of patriotism and respect, and talk about the Companionship Project to encourage individuals to participate.

Week #2: Encourage individuals to share the Flag Replacement Program with their friends and family.

Week 3:

Encourage our community to take action, and provide instructions on how to request a free American flag through the program. In addition, we will highlight the importance of properly disposing of old, worn flags.

Week 4:

Share stories and pictures of individuals who have served our country, and encourage participants to display their new American flag. We will also provide ongoing updates on the program's success and the number of flags distributed.

We believe that it's important to highlight the quality of care and support we provide to our clients and their families and to demonstrate our commitment to providing personalized and meaningful services. Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients and their families.

During this month, we will showcase the expertise and compassion of our staff, and the range of services and options we offer to meet your needs.

We will feature videos of our staff discussing their experience and the services we offer, as well as messages from satisfied clients sharing their experiences with our funeral home.

Week 1:

This week we will focus on introducing our funeral home and the services we provide. We will showcase our staff members and their experience in the industry, highlighting their qualifications, skills, and expertise. They will share their personal journey and their role in our funeral home.

Week 2:

We will discuss the different types of services we offer to our clients. We will provide a comprehensive overview of our services, including funeral planning, cremation, memorial services, and grief support.

Week 3:

We will feature messages from satisfied clients sharing their experiences with our funeral home. We will showcase the positive impact our services have had on their lives and their families. Our clients will share their stories of how our staff members have helped them during their difficult times and provided them with a meaningful funeral experience.

Week 4:

This week, we will focus on our funeral home's future plans, including the latest trends in the funeral industry and how we plan to adapt to them.

Video Obituary®

During this month, we're proud to offer our exclusive video obituary service, which transforms the photo of a loved one who has passed away into a beautiful tribute video that reflects their life and interests. This is a free service available to our community, even if your loved one was not served by our funeral home. Honor their memory, and share their story with our video obituary service.

We will produce a short video to pay tribute to the life of a loved one. This video may be shared with friends and family via social media.

CALENDAR OF activies:

Week 1:

Inform families, from our community, about the video obituary service and its features, and invite them to join our program by selecting the image of a loved one who has passed away. Then, we’ll produce a short memorial video.

Week 2: Continue to create tribute videos for families who have signed up for the service. Answer any questions that they may have. Explain the process.

Week 3:

Monday: Share some of the completed tribute videos on your website and social media pages to showcase the service's quality and impact.

Week 4: Conduct a survey or feedback form to gather insights on how to improve the video obituary service and make it more valuable for clients. Include testimonies from families who participated in our program.

Mother’s Day: Free Photo Restoration Service

Celebrate Mother's Day with our exclusive offer of a free photo restoration service, available to families in our community. Our skilled technicians will work to repair and revive your treasured memories, bringing your cherished photos back to their original quality.

Don't let time or wear and tear diminishes the value of your family's keepsakes. The family will receive a digital copy and an 8 ½ X 10 print copy.

Memorial Day: American Flag Giveaway

We believe that it's important to show our respect and gratitude for those who gave their lives for our freedom.

On this day, we will be honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, by giving free American flags to our community. We will provide details through our social media platforms.

CALENDAR OF activities:

Week 1: Develop social media posts to announce the free photo restoration service for Mother's Day. Contact the selected participants to let them know that their photos have been chosen.

Week 2: Complete the photo restoration process for the chosen photos, and, with permission from the families, promote the chosen photos on social media platforms.

Week #3: Promote the upcoming event on our social media, flyers, and posters. Create a plan to acquire and distribute American flags to our community.

Week #4: Share pictures and highlights from the event on our social media platforms, and other promotional channels. Provide opportunities for the community to share their own photos of the event with the designated hashtag.

Father’s Day: Free Photo Restoration Service.

“Dads are special too!”

Let’s celebrate the special memories you share with your dad by restoring old, cherished family photos. Our free photo restoration service will help bring your favorite moments back to life.

Whether it's a faded black white photo from your childhood or a more recent snapshot, we’ll help bring out the vibrant colors and sharp details that made those moments so special.

CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES:

Week 1:

We will promote our photo restoration service through our social media platforms.

Week 2:

During this week, collect the eligible photos from customers, and keep track of the status of each restoration.

Week 3:

Inform customers of the status of their photos, and provide them with the finished product.

Week 4: Follow up with customers to gather feedback and suggestions for improvement.

4th of July: American Flag Giveaway

To celebrate this beloved national holiday, we will have an American flag giveaway! This event has been our tradition for over 5 years.

There's no better way to show your love for our country than by proudly displaying the stars and stripes for all to see.

Whether families in our community are hosting a barbecue with friends and family, attending a local parade, or they simply want to add a touch of patriotism to their home, our American flags are the perfect way to do so.

We're proud to be part of this great community and to support the values that make our country great.

CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES:

The following activities may begin 2 weeks prior to the 4th of July (middle of June) to make sure that families from our community receive their American flag in time.

Week #1

Open the registration for the free American flag giveaway, and make sure to advertise the giveaway through various channels.

Week #2

Collect eligible registrations from customers, provide them with instructions, and keep track of the status of each registration.

Week #3

Distribute the American flags to families who registered within the given timeframe, making sure to follow up with each individual to ensure their satisfaction. Also, include pictures, videos, and testimonies on our social media platforms.

Week #4

Provide an opportunity to those who couldn't register the first time to sign up and receive a free American flag by making an announcement on our social media platforms.

We will help raise awareness about the benefits of estate planning and provide our community with the necessary knowledge and resources to protect their loved ones' legacies. We will conduct a needs assessment to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of our community about estate planning.

Week #2

We will promote our free services through our social media platforms as well as other channels.

Week #3

We will host free webinars and/or workshops with experts in estate planning to provide attendees with the knowledge and resources needed to plan their estates. Also, we will share success stories and case studies that highlight the importance of estate planning.

Week #4

Highlight testimonies of those who have taken steps towards planning their estates, share resources, and provide ongoing support for those who have started their own estate planning.

We are raising awareness about the importance of travel protection plans. While we all hope for safe and enjoyable travels, unexpected events can happen - including the passing of a loved one while away from home.

Our travel protection plan provides peace of mind to our community. In the unfortunate event that they need to bring a loved one home, our plan includes coverage for the necessary arrangements and expenses, regardless of where they passed away.

We believe that everyone should be able to travel with confidence and peace of mind, knowing that they have the necessary coverage and support in case of unexpected events. So whether they are planning a weekend getaway or a long-term trip, we encourage them to consider a travel protection plan.

CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES:

Week #1

We will focus on the benefits of having a travel protection plan, such as the financial protection it provides for unexpected emergencies. We will also provide tips on how to choose the right plan for individual needs. To accomplish this, we will use our social media platforms and other channels to inform our community about these benefits. We will include videos and personalized posts.

Week #2

During this week, we will highlight the importance of understanding the coverage provided by the travel protection plan. We will also share some of the common misconceptions and address any concerns that our community may have.

Thanksgiving Day
