State Fair Food Insecurity Day

National Convention

National Convention is in the books! We started our trip with a stop at the City Museum in St Louis Thursday morning, members attended opening session and explored the career expo After a long day at convention, we traveled to a trampoline park and showed off our "skills"! Friday we traveled to Louisville and toured the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum After lunch, we were able to see a horse race while touring Churchill Downs! Saturday, we attended the American Degree ceremony where three of our members received the highest degree you can earn within our organization

Wyatt placed 4th in the Young Farmers category with a speech about challenges that face first time farmers as well as generational farmers.

Blair placed 3rd in the Pork Producers category with a speech about the impacts of artificial meat in the pork industry.

Thanksgiving

Meals

We purchased Thanksgiving meals for fifteen families in our community. Officers went shopping for items, and members helped pack meals at the November meeting. Meals were then handed out right before Thanksgiving to aid families in need.
