Homework-Manystudentsdreaditandtrytheirbesttogettheleastamountofit.Thatis whythereisastrongcontroversywhetherornothomeworkisnecessarytolearningandifitisa helporahindrancetoastudent'slearning.Ibelievethathomeworkshouldbethereforextrahelp orpractice,butwithtoomuchhomeworkthereislesslearningandmorefrustrationforstudents. ThatiswhyIthinkthathomeworkissomewhatunnecessaryforstudents,because althoughthereasonforhomeworkishelp,manystudentsdon'thavethetimesotheygetanswers andcheattheirwaythrough,whichiscounterproductivetothecause.Manyteachersdecideto putalotofpressureonthestudentsbyassigningalotofhomework,manystudentsespeciallyin highschoolhavejobsandotherimportantclassesthattheyarealreadybalancingsotheadded stressofhomeworkcouldbedetrimental.Manyteensaresleepdeprivedduetostressthatcomes withhomework,withbalancingsomuchstayingupistheonlywaytheycandotheirwork.But sleepdeprivationleedstomanyotherissuesthatteensoftenexperience,suchasanxiety depression,andevensuicidalthoughts.

IamveryproudoftheworkthatIhavecompletedthroughthissemester.Ihavelearneda lotaboutmyselfandmywriting.WhencomingintoAPLangIwasextremelyintimidatedby everything,butslowlyastimecreptbyIrealizedthatwearehalfwaythereandwithevery brainstorminthatnotebook,(whichIthoughtwasuseless)wasworthit,causenowIgainedso manynewideasandtopicstowriteabout.IenjoyedreadingFahrenheit451andtakingnotes becauseIhavepassionforreadingandIlovebooks,sotomethatwasthebest.Ihavelearnedso manynewthingsandoneskillthatIwouldsayhasdefinitelyimprovedismyuseofpunctuation.
