ACHIEVEMENTS: 4.5 GPA ON TOPIC EDUCATION: Two full semesters each of technical theatre. Consisted of designing and building set models for school musical performances.

LEGEND

A shallow relief model intended to teach lessons about figure-ground and composition. Beginning with regulating line drawings, continuing to shaded drawings, and finishing with 3D models. The shallow relief model is meant to investigate the relationship between human scale and composition.

The Bounding Box focuses on the understanding of scale the relationship of composition to scale. The modeling process included digital modeling, physical modeling, and assembly GIFs. Later, light was added, elevating the meaning of the relationships as well as highlighting the importance of figure-ground and view.

This digital project concentrates on the form of stereotomic or subtractive design. Understanding these design forms when thinking about specific geometries produces unconventional Emily Guy SH5 spaces. A subtractive horizontal pavilion ARCH 1102 and vertical tower are created with themes of view, movement, and activity in mind.

After designing, a digital system is used to make an accurate perspective drawing of the pavilion and tower.

AXONOMETRIC:

NORTH A site-focused project exposing the importance of site and program. A topography-based health center was designed as a community center that responded to strong site elements. Landscape architecture developed throughout the project along with the understanding of community-based programs.

A collaborative project addressing the issues of a cardboard confessional that is fit for intimate human capacity that recognizes site situations, and can physically withstand weight. The confessional's site was a large salon space that exhibited large light capacities, varying circulation, and views.

The orthogonal confessional created confronted these site-based issues.
