Actor zachary laoutides Zachary Laoutides is an American actor and writer born in Chicago. In 2008 Laoutides was the finalist out of the Midwest for Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment nationwide talent search for new actors. Laoutides became solely selected representing the best in the United States.

Laoutides had earned recognition for his roles, acting in and writing Adios Vaya Con Dios an Official Selection at the Bel Air Film Festival 2014. Laoutides earned nominations for Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Screenplay and shared in movie's nomination for the Best Director.

In 2016 Zachary wrote and acted in Arise from Darkness. Laoutides was nominated for Best Screenplay and shared in the movie's nominations for Best Feature Film and Best Director.

Actor zachary Laoutides, several years ago was the finalist out of Chicago and ultimately the United States for Simon Fuller’s (creator of American Idol) XIX Entertainment’s nationwide talent search for new actors. Today, Laoutides has acted on the potential of what others experienced in a young twenty-year-old, who at one time could only find steady gigs working at the Joliet Correctional Center as a prison extra and Wentworth Miller’s body double for the FOX series Prison Break. In 2014 Laoutides co-launched Executive Producer Monica Esmeralda Leon’s film studio into orbit, writing and starring in Adios Vaya Con Dios. Laoutides plays a heavily tattooed half Mexican and half Irish gangster, trying to change his life for the better; he attempts to leave his neighborhood only to be drawn back inside by lawless allegiances. Laoutides earned the film an official selection at the Belair Film Festival, being runner-up for the audience choice award and earning nominations for best actor and best screenplay.

In 2014 Laoutides co-founded Ave Fenix Pictures with Mónica Esmeralda León.

Ave Fenix Pictures is the first Latino film studio in Chicago.

In 2016 Zachary Laoutides wrote and starred in Arise from Darkness an official selection at Film Invasion L.A. based on true events in the early life of psychic Lazaro Ruben Torres, who was declared clinically dead five times. Laoutides composed and produced several tracks for the movie's soundtrack. Laoutides was nominated for Best Screenplay and shared in the nominations for Best Feature Film and Best Director.
