A ids W a l k Aids Walk is one of the best volunteering events I have ever been to. There is so much positively and it's very organized in general. Although, there are a lot of volunteers that go, you could still participate by walking. They provided wonderful snacks and entertainment throughout the event which is incredible. Children's Day Parade
Chi ldren's Day Parade i s an event speci fi c to El Monte w here clubs and groups outsi de of El Monte Hi gh School can prom ote them selves by w alk i ng i n the parade. Offi ci al bands from di fferent hi gh schools alw ays w alk i n thi s parade w i th thei r color guards. Our volunteers help by holdi ng banners and w alk i ng dow n Tyler Street. It's an am azi ng experi ence that also show s up on televi si on.

I was abl e t o pr act ice t he main cheer s, and comeback cheer s! My f avor it e par t was pr act icing t he comeback cheer s because t hat means I can spir it bat t l e! OCTOBER DCM
It was a hella cool DCM. There were people dressing up and giving out candy which was really nice of them. We had a bunch of ice breakers and talked about our agendas. We ended up winning club of the month which was totally unexpected. Peter Chac | 12 | Senior Rep

Fall Rallywasthehighlight of myyear. Fromhavingtheevent beat Six Flags,tomakingfriendswithall of theother divisions,totheactual fall rallyevent intheGoldenBear Theatreandjust seeingall of thedivisions cheer for their Lieutenant Government wasveryheart warming. But making friendsandhuggingeveryonewasthebest part,asof right nowi madeover 20friendsfromdifferent divisions. freehugsfromdifferent divisions. Tobehonest,I loveall thefreelittlehugsbecausethisissocuteandI'll surelymakeasignnext year! I WANTMOREFREEHUGS!!! First of all lemmestart withmyhorriblebeginning. I bought aseasonpassandgot kickedout waitedfor another 1hour andpaid$5,however I foundout that the$5 wasadonationwhichgot metoahappier moodfromtheannouncement inGolden Bear Theatre. Beforeentering theGoldenBear Theater OURWHOLE35west divisionbattledagainst theturtlesandthat wasawholelot of fun alright. Wefought backandforthandBACKandFORTHyellingshowingour awesomespirit,that wasconsidered averybigspirit battlefight ever inthewholedaywalkingaroundsixflagspickingfights! For thespirit stick competitioningoldentheatre... ITWASSOLOUDintheauditionit just mademewant tobelouder andshowmore spirit. ANDYOUKNOWTHEPARTTHATGAVEMEATERRIBLEHEARTATTACKiswhentheMCannouncedwhich divisionswouldmovetothenext round. Our division35WESTdidn't win,but wemadeit tosecondroundandthe funof cheeringisenoughtoknowthat wewonthisinour hearts. Inadditionlisteningtoother great cheersthat other divisionsmadewasveryinteresting. EVERYONEshowedsomuchspirit andgladlyI didn't losemy voice...Spirit battleswassoscary... it mademeswamawaysometimesespeciallywhenmygroupwent against a groupof huskies.Sixflagsisagreat placetoshowour spirit becauseridesmademealot moreenergetic,YET thefoodtherewasarippedoff.... After leavingthepark,twogirlsandI wasn't tiredsowedecidedtotell every divisionsthat wereexitingthepark,SUPERSUPERSTARSWHATYOUARE,aswell asstartinganother battle against THEWHOLEhuskydivisionwhichwasreallyawkwardsinceit waslike3v20. AWKWARD!!!. I'mextremely inlovewithfall rallyandthiswasmyfirst timeattendingasafreshmanandthiswasthemost AMAZING EXPERIENCEEVERspendingtimewithdiff people!
