Thesis booklet spring 2020. Master of Architecture at the School of Architecture, Royal School of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden.
This thesis project will concern topics such as virtual spaces, gamespaces, digital architecture, systems, worldbuilding, games as design tools and evocative space. The main method presented in the booklet is a two-part study of architecture and games.
1) Games as architecture; case studies of gamespaces and the relationships between space, actions/behaviours and systems/rules in virtual games.
2) Architecture as games; an attempt to represent physical architecture through the medium of the digital game.
The thesis is planned to be presented in May 2020, in Stockholm, Sweden.
