Wynne talks pensions With Parliament Hill at her back, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne reiterates her frustration with the federal government over what she calls its “pretty much unilateral decision to shut down discussions on enhancing the Canada Pension Plan. So we are moving forward to take action.” Wynne made the announcement from the NAC in Ottawa March 10, saying again that P.E.I. and Manitoba have joined Ontario’s technical advisory group on retirement security. She went on to say that a pension system separate from CPP is not what the group is currently looking at.
